Any May VSC filers still waiting for their green card? Online processing times show they have already reached May 05,2017 for VSC filers. Please keep us updated about the response you receive for case falling out of normal processing times

Hi guys! I’m new to the group and I’m a CSC May filer. I’ve been waiting for the 10 year GC like everyone else and just today I received I-797 Notice of Action letter from USCIS. Can someone help me what the letter means? Thank you for your help!!

Well, what does the letter say?

If I have to guess, it's your 18-month extension letter.

Dear Friends,

I have a news I would like to share with you all. I am a CSC filer and filed my application on 05/08/2017. I received I-797 notice in mail today (08/17/2018) that reads...

Notice Date : 08/10/2018

"Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status have been approved. You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status. You should receive a new Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551 (green card), within 60 days."

I checked my status on USCIS Case tracker app and also USCIS case status webpage. They still show that my case has been transferred to local office since March. So I guess many of you should expect this letter very soon and not rely completely on the USCIS app or webpage. Wish you guys all the best.

I received my physical Green card today (08/19/2018) in mail. The card will expire in 2028. USCIS case tracker app and USCIS Case status webpage still shows that the case has been received in local office. I hope you guys get the notification and the card in mail in next few days...

No I did not apply for N400. Wanted to be on the safe side even though the officer who I had the infopass appointment with last month encouraged me to apply.

Question for the group: If your I-751 is still in CSC (and has not been transferred to another service center) and you have already file N-400 while the I-751 is still pending, does it mean that USCIS will possibly send both your I-751 and N-400 to your local USCIS office for a combined interview? Or are they going to adjudicate the I-751 now, followed by an N-400 interview?
