I see a lot of Cards either being produced or Cards received for Receipts WAC17222.. and WAS17223.. And some cases with Request for Additional evidence, but much less. These are the cases , that got Transferred recently. So my guess a lot of Approvals will come very soon.

I already started to wish I did not apply for citizenship..

You shouldn't be wishing that you didn't apply for citizenship.  Having already done that just got that ball rolling.  If you'd waited, you'd still have the wait time for N-400 approval, just postponed, so it'd take longer.

K1 Visa timeline:

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

02/01/2014 - mailed our petition

07/25/2014 - Johan arrives in Los Angeles!

*See updated timeline for specific dates.*

AOS timeline:~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

08/02/2014 - AOS, EAD, AP applications mailed.

11/17/2014 - K2 gets an interview waiver letter in the mail (dated November 12th) (K1 has never gotten this letter)

08/24/2015 - Green cards are FINALLY in hand after nearly 13 months of waiting.

ROC timeline: ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

05/01/2017 - ROC application sent

05/02/2017 - CSC receives our package

05/03/2017 - Official NOA1 date

05/10/2017 - MO cashed at our bank

05/12/2017 - NOA 1 is in the mailbox.

05/20/2017 - Biometrics letter in hand

05/31/2017 - biometrics appt (Oxnard, CA)

06/19/2018 - ROC still pending with no news but that wonky glitch back in February, so we went ahead and filed for citizenship

N-400 timeline: ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

06/19/2018 - N-400 application filed online

06/20/2018 - NOA1 received online for Naturalization application

Now I am facing second interview , which is stressful and additional time for both cases, as Citizenship for my location extended the timelines. But what was done can not be undone. But I am happy for May people , who finally get their approvals.

Surprise, surprise!

This morning I got my usual text message update and first I wasn't paying attention to it, since I expected the same old story. BUT: it said "we have taken an action...". So I logged in my USCIS account and it said "Card is produced". YEAH! 4 months under the 19 months estimated process time of CSC. The case status USCIS page still does show "case received" but logging into "My USCIS" seems to be updated sooner. However, I don't care....I'll wait now for the GC in the mail...I might call to confirm...

Actually, from what I've read from others, what will happen is your green card application and your citizenship application will combine into ONE interview.  Also, combining your applications doesn't make it take longer. The opposite is true.  Let's say your local office takes a year to process N-400's.  If you applied for that in May, 2018, for example, you'd likely have your citizenship interview by May 2019.  IF you'd waited for your green card approval to apply for citizenship, you'd still be waiting to apply, and that year-long wait would still be in front of you.  In my opinion, since citizenship is actually your goal, it's not really relevant when your green card gets approved.  You may have to get the stamp in your passport; you may get the 18 month extension letter people are beginning to get in the mail, but overall, you're sitting in a better position to get your citizenship sooner.  Los Angeles is a long wait for interviews; that's why we applied already instead of waiting for the green card approval.  You may see it completely differently, but I think you made the correct decision, for what it's worth.

Guys, thank you so much for reminding me to check my I-751 number (not the CRI-89)! I do remember checking it way back when I first applied, and nothing would come up whereas for the CRI-89 I'd get the "case was received" (which hasn't changed since).

I just checked my I-751 and finally saw the same message that most people got (back in March): "case was received in local office". It's definitely a relief as I now feel that we're all on the same page.

My card could have been approved recently for all I know, and I wouldn't have known about it!

So, everyone, please make sure you're checking your I-751 number for updates (as most of you already know) 🤗

Congratulations.....

What kind of update?

I received an update too like thiss..

Mine was a RFE, I filed with multiple waivers (VSC). I need to mail a more detailed affidavit explaining extreme cruelty....not a nice subject. But at least they have reviewed my case. I think I will be fine...lost of proof of bonafide marriage.

Hi been looking at the forum for a long time, just wondering anyone with WAC1723 get any updates? Last update my wife got was the March 4 glitch everyone got.

We went to the Chicago office a few ago and only got a 6 month stamp and said we will have to go back in January, because it most likely won't be approved by then and if anyone who knows Chicago going to downtown in January is not the best idea.  The USCIS agent also told us not to apply for the N400 because it will make the wait time even longer since Chicago won't process them at the same time.

@PKChi You will have your case approved within the next few weeks(at most a month). Don't worry about what USCIS says, most of them are clueless to being with

Ummm I am not WAC but approvals happen after roughly 15+ months, so you should be receiving something soon!!!

I agree with @xilef -- They usually "estimate" things. I remember when I went for my infopass appointment to ask about when I had my AOS case pending and the officer told me it will take another 2 months probably for the approval (Hi, if you are reading this :P), when I actually got approved a week after.
