You're welcome...

He has not applied for N400 yet.  He plans to do it when he physically receives his greencard.  We live in the Southern California so CSC is our original service center.

Nice to see CSC approval. Hopefully texas and nebraska are helping CSC catch up with workload.

Hi, there. Hope you all are having a good day.

I am May filer as well, Receipt number WAC17223#####

I have a quick question. I just found out that we can have our case status checked on both DHS & USCIS. When i logged into my DHS website today for the first time and put down my receipt number it showed a different notice.

Please compare 2 of the pictures I attached below. My concern is that it says on the DHS notice that if I don't receive the notice in the mail by March 28 2018, then I can send them a case inquiry. I did not receive any mail, and I just sent them a case inquiry today for this matter.

I just want to know if any of you guys have the same notice on the DHS website.

Need some input here. You guys are awesome, hang in there.

That is a glitch February-March message, that most people received, it means some local internal office within CSC, like a different department, but your case is still in CSC.

Thank you Jane, did you have the same notice on your DHS website? I was just worried that they sent me something important and I did not get it. But I guess your right. Makes more sense.

Yes, I think every single person got that message, with approximately similar dates  end of February - beginning of March. So it is a known thing. A lot of people including me went to infopass and they were confirming same thing, they didn’t receive it locally. It is still there.

I got the same exact "case received at local office on Feb 26" and "if you don't receive your notice by March 28..." like yours. I did click on that March 28 link to create an SR and they replied with an email confirming that our case has been transferred to CSC. Yeah, OK. We mailed the original package to CSC so chances are someone had moved it from desk A to desk B in the same room. Just to annoy us. lol

Try to call their number, and provide your case number. Usually if it is really transferred to some place, it will provide you with exact location, where it has been transferred. If not and you have some upcoming Infopass, I would doublecheck with them.

My personal opinion - The huge transfer to "local office" happened before March 5, when there was a decision regards DACA by current administration, and they didn't decide to continue it.

My understanding  , that is some sort of Local distribution center, where they decided what to do next.

Good news fellas...woke up at 4 am this morning (that’s another story) and decided to check my email, when I saw a communication from DHS stating that action has been taken on my case. I went and checked my status and found that my card was in production...see attached.

My case number is WAC17223XXXXX. As you can see my status went from “Case Received At Local Office” to “Card In Production”. No RFE or “Case Transferred To Another Office”. I have not applied for N-400.
