Congratulations! You must be the first May CSC approved. So you are saying that you case was never transfered to any other service center?

Correct. I only got the usual “received by local office” updates in February, which appears to mean nothing at all. I am waiting for the real letter now.

Hi all,

Card arrived in the post today. (VSC1723X)

I was approved on 8/1. My online USCIS DHS status changed to approved on 8/2. Seems to be a day lag.

Card was mailed by USCIS 8/3 and received today.

Glad it’s all over. Onwards and upwards to N-400. I’ll file this weekend most likely.

Good luck to all

Nice. Thank you! Filers from prior months reported that after all the transfers out of CSC, this service center seem to be going faster now. My case was not transfered, so I am happy to hear some CSC May filers are finally been approved.

I just realized my one year extension letter is going to expire this week. Where can I go to ask for further extension? I checked online and it looks like the local USCIS office only accept finger print appointment and they don't accept appointment such as extend green card. Do I have to go to the USCIS center? I live in Chicagoland, and it looks like the USCIS center in Chicago has been booked as far as 2 weeks away. What should i do? Thank you everyone!

Hi, if you don't mind me asking, what did you send for RFE. I got notification to send RFE but my husband and I don't have any joint lease or bills except car insurance and his disabilities has me listed as spouse. Because he hasn't had a job in 8 years, we have been living with his parents and I've been trying to pay all the bills(his car, phone, insurance etc) I am really stressed out..

No worry. I think it is case by case. For me, I guess that I didn't submit any pictures at first place. So, I submitted bunch of pictures.

Anyway, the list below is what I sent them back.

1.       My spouse’s living will

2.       Federal income tax return 2017 (since I have it now)

3.       State Tax Return in the last 3 years (I didn't submit at first)

4.       Two Affidavit of Support letters from friends

5.       One Affidavit of Personal Relationship letter from my spouse’s parent (since we live together with them)

6.       Joint bank accounts information and statements (since i have the updated ones)

7.       Driver Licenses (to show that we have to the same address on our driver licenses)

8.       Health Insurance claims information and Medical Statements

9.       Our Photo Album (I didn't submit at first)

10.     Auto Insurance Policy (this is to show that my spouse is on my auto insurance policy)

Hopefully, this would help. Good luck :)

just a silly question, you don't get online notifications when such letter is sent out?

And don't worry, you will get an approval any day now, I don't think vsc filers go beyond 15 months.

both of the sites I check just either says "We received your case" or "Case Was Received At My Local Office".. the first one was updated july 13 and the other one April 9..

thank you, i hope so! it's a little worrying because almost 75% or more (too lazy to do the actual math :D) cases before and after me.. has had updates on theirs.. either an rfe, an interview or produced card. (this is based on the tracker app and I search 250 cases)
