HI Ladies,

I just wanted to share my experience about INFO pass.

When you book an appointment, they will have to check if that IS your actual living address.(I brought my apartment leasing doc to prove I lived there since I moved after I filed my I-751)

They wont let you in if you just use random zip code to book the appointment.

Also try to search the appointment after mid night or really early in the morning, that usually have more available time to book an appointment.

I hope those info is helpful.

Good luck

It says nothing on the confirmation that proof of residence is needed.  I'll keep trying to get an appt at our actual office, but if I can't get one, we're keeping this one.  I've searched after midnight, at 6am, over the weekend, random times during the day, random times in the middle of the night (if I happen to wake up).  I'd rather take my chances at an office that isn't *mine* than keep not being able to get an appt at the office that is mine.  I'll do a VJ search about this though.  Thank you.

My VJ searches are telling me that it's preferred, but not necessary to have your appointment at your local office. I'll update in 2 weeks.

I used my office zip code to book an appointment the first time and the check -in officer wont let me in because that is NOT my apartment address.

so when I booked the second time I bring my leasing paper and they DID check if that is my New address and matching my appointment zip code.

Also when I was there, there is a couple next to me lived in Anaheim but come to LA office because they cant find an appointment under their zip code. once again the check-in  officer didn't let them in.

It might be different case by case ( or depends on who is at the check in window at the time)

Hope you can just walking with no problems :)

Was this at the downtown LA office?  I've read people's information about this where they traveled to different states and had no issues.  This is so ridiculous.  I cannot wait to be done with the laughable inefficiency of the USCIS.

Yes, it was at the DTLA office (300 N Los Angeles )

I don't know because its in LA office so they are very strict about the zip code policy or what (since there are a lot of people everyday waiting outside in order to get in)

I just wanted to share you my experience when I read your message because I just went thru this in July and luckily I got my I-551 stamp the second time when I was there ( and luckily my husband told me to bring something to prove my residency before I went that day. Otherwise I may not get a stamp again at the second appointment.)

Ugh.  Well, I'm glad you're sharing this because, being the same office, it's very relevant.  I cannot believe this ridiculousness.   Thank you again for letting me know what you went through. :)

#######?!  That's not what I see at all.  Chatsworth office is my local office, and there's none (as usual).  When I put in the zipcode for the LA office, it shows this week, and no appts, then won't let me look at next week at all.  And yes, I tried clicking on the "next week" arrow.

Try using a computer...would perhaps solve your issue.

I was also using a laptop, and both chrome and safari.  It was just easier for me to screenshot my phone.

I had the same problem! I think I ended up using Edge (Microsoft) or Firefox to get around it. Not sure if everyone is having this problem with Webkit browsers (Chrome and Safari) or if there are other conditions that cause it, but I did see the same thing (unable to go to "Next Week").

Edit: Just tried again now in Chrome and "Next Week" is not clickable.

The buttons are disabled --- I was able to go into console and remove the disabled param, but that only affects the style (instead of grey text, it changes to blue and gets a grey box background on hover). But the click handler is still not working.

Best guess is they have a javascript bug in Chrome and Safari (which use the same underlying engine). The JS code is large/obfuscated and they don't have any error messages / debug info.

Best solution for now is to use Firefox or IE or Edge if possible.

I got my notice that my case has passed preliminary review and has been moved the TSC. I think it showed up on Monday.

I filed on May 8 '17.

I'll be so glad when this is all done. Right now I'm fighting with my school to prove I can stay in the country for the length of my graduate program. If I was on the east coast I would have been approved by now >:(

MEE... Im May / 07/ 17 and nothing new !!!  CSC

Any CSC approvals so far from May 2017 ? If so, was your case trasnferred to NSC,TSC,VSC ? Again, this is calling all non-N-400 applicants ? I'm just trying to gauge the median when it comes to case approvals. It seems like right around March/April with the bulk of Jan/Feb filers being approved already

no nothing! im may 17
