Thanks for sharing this! Please keep us updated.

My lawyer said it was a good sign. I just have no idea of how backlogged TSC is though. (I had only heard of VSC and CSC before)

I think normally the ROCs only go to California or Vermont but they’re so far behind, they’re sending them to the other centers that normally do other cases like K-1s or CR-1s.

Mar 2014 - Married

5/7/14?? - Attorney mailed paperwork

5/15/14 DHS cashed check

5/19/14 - NOA1 received with PD 5/12/14

10/28/14 - Email received that file has been sent to NVC

11/13/14 - NVC received file

12/10/14 - NVC Assigned case number

12/12/14 - AOS Fee Invoiced

1/7/15 - NVC scanned in packages. Let the countdown begin...

1/30/15 - FINALLY got a reply to my email to remove the attorney from the DS-261

3/9/15 - Called NVC and they have checklisted us for an "incorrect" decree absolute from the UK, even though it is the legal official document. Have requested a supervisor review.

4/28/15 - Called and NVC said supervisor had reviewed and now claimed that the decree absolute was not included. After disagreeing with the less than helpful lady on the phone, and her not being able to get the review time right. (She kept changing her story between 42 days and 30 days).

4/30/15 - Sent the same copy of the decree absolute to the NVC from the UK, highlighting the "decree absolute" wording with a letter stating that this is the only document provided by the UK government.

Could anyone tell how long does it take to receive the physical card after the case notification of New Card is producing?

( Want to get a better idea when to watch closely on the mailbox)

Thank you!

Here’s a new one for you guys.

I’m EAC17238 filer. Called USCIS this morning and requested a tier 2. Officer.

Turns out I was approved April 30, but they have 90 days to process my 10 year green card. The officer expects the new card to be in production this week and I’ll have it within a couple of weeks.

He did refer to system issues in the call but I’m at a loss to understand what happened.

He told me it is untrue that you get card shortly after approval however I know this to not be correct given the updates I see here.

My status on site says April 9th we received your case. I never got any further notifications outside of the regular “we have no updates on your case emails and texts.”

Even stranger, a tier 2 officer told me 3 weeks ago that my case was still being worked on.

I’m really confused! I’ll be happy once I see that card in the mail!

fingers crossed

this is weird that you dont receive notifications if indeed your application was approved. Do you have a dhs.gov account? I would suggest to create one specially if you're planning to submit N-400, Here's the link to create the account:

I have the app and the online account.

The website says last action Feb 27th. The App says 9th.

Something is not working right.

The officer said I should get the notification once new card is in production which should be today or tomorrow.

Yeap, maybe there is something going on to their site even some of the people filed n-400 like me have the weird message status on my online account. Or maybe the officer that approved your application did not submit the new card being produced button to submit the new card request to their production location. Good luck and I hope you will get the notifications soon. It will be easy breezy Once the IO submitted that request for card production.

Honestly, I think that’s a very plausible theory. Frustrating though, as I waited to file N-400 until I had the 10 year in hand.

Good luck to you too 😀

I got you, even me i really waited to get my 10 years green card before filing the n-400, reason being is that, i dont want RFE and push back, If I can make it done in a smooth way without the hassle then I will do it.

I read some VJ members who filed their n-400 without the approval of their i-751 got RFE and push back and even horrible experiences during their n-400 interview with pending i-751.

Though I'm eligible to file the n-400 this year May but I filed June after the approval of i-751.
