By the way on July 19 --> They transferred some cases approximately between WAC17213XXXXX up to  WAC17217XXXXX. Looks like a smaller transfer this time... And there was Tools Outage  on July 19 too. WAC17218XXXXX and WAC17219XXXXX cases are showing error validations. So my guess next chunk of transfers will start from WAC17220XXXXX...

I wonder if anyone can give me so advice and suggestions! Appreciate it!

So I file my N400 on 07/09/2018 with I-751 pending,  and Biometrics is scheduled on 08/02/2018.

I am leaving the country for 3 weeks for my family (planned last year) between 09/15/2018 and 10/06/2018.

Are there any ways that I can let USCIS officers know and can avoid schedule interviews during my travel beforehand?

Or have to wait for reschedule if it happened to be scheduled during the trip?

I understand some people might say cancel the trip and go to the interview but this trip is very important to me that I won't be able to cancel it.

Also anyone has used the "talk to officer" on the dhs account yet?

Thank you!

you should be fine. Just schedule an infopass appointment, get your I-551 stamp. Go finish your biometrics in August and in september you can go on your trip for 3 weeks. Interview won't be scheduled atleast 3+ months from biometrics. If they do by any remote chance, you can always reschedule it online. Also, when you return show the immigration officer a copy of your I-551 stamp and expired green card and you should be good to go

Can someone answer this cause I might be wrong,  My wife as bein in the country since July 2015, we send off for her ROC last year May we got a letter back last month June saying we needed more evidence so I send that off Friday so I've seen other people file for Naturalization is that possible?

My wife passed her ROC interview July 17, same time as her N400 interview.  Oddly enough they let me stay in the room for both interviews.

On July 19th her I751 status changed to approved.  Interviewer said they won't produce a card since she's in line for oath ceremony, which makes sense.

Happy that's all over with!

For those keeping track, we filed N400 on March 31st, CSC ROC filer

Not sure what to do... My wife applied for her I-751 May of 2017, and we got an extension through August of this year.  So will she be illegal if we just wait and do nothing?  I tried to make an InfoPass appointment, there are none for the next 2 weeks.  So basically we can't make an appointment, and we are waiting and hoping for an I-751 approval, which it sounds like it could still take a lot of time.  What should we do?

Is there any other offices near you that might have openings. Not sure if you could go to another office and have them stamp it.

There is only one office near me in Omaha, Nebraska.  I saw someone who said they just walked into the office without an appointment.

She will still be legal even after the extension letter expires. The passport stamp is just for travel/DMV or work related issues that may arise. So make the appointment if needed!

She will be legal, can stay but not travel outside of US. She may not be able to continue to work though. You may go to a field office in another state to have the passport stamped if you do not find any openings in your local field office. Many applicants from this thread have done that.

I am May 2017 filer. I got extension for one year. My extension expire on August 4, 2018. I called the office and they told me to get an appointment with Minneapolis USCIS field office. Tomorrow is my appointment which most likely will give me a stamp or another extension.

My question, I have looked at the policy manual on USCIS website and it states that N400 will not be approved by the officer until I-751 is approved.

My question is, how are you guys applying for N400 and you don’t have a valid Green Card. As one of the requirements to apply for N400 is copy of your valid green card. How can you submit the application with expired green card?

Would some one please explain the process of how you apply to N400 while your I-751 is still pending??

I am so furstrated and unhappy about this waiting time for just renewing a green card. Its such a shame.

That would be a depressing thread knowing how things evolve at CSC...lol...Although, I have seen some movements yesterday on 17213 cases, if anyone cares to know.

Ours is WAC17159 and no movements since May 2017.
