Now that my ROC is approved do I need to go to the SS office to let them know? I had already went in 2015 to request a new card that removed the "Valid for work only with DHS Authorization". so my current social security card does not have that language on it.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

You dont have to because you already have the SSS card without the restrictions, you have to go to SSA office again once you got the approval of your Citizenship and inform them to change your status from Permanent Resident to US Citizen.

you dont need an appointment, you can just go there and ask them to removed the notation on your SSA card, just bring your green card, SSA card with notation and state ID.

Hello everyone,

I just got  notification that a new card is being produced. I am a VSC June filer (case received on June 8th 2017). The website so far updated only for the I-751 receipt (the first receipt number). I'll keep you posted if something else changes. My receipt number start with EAC17251XXXXX. I applied online for my N400 on June 5th (I am not sure if this triggered the acceptance). I also had an infopass scheduled for the 18th but at this point I won't need it. Good luck to every one.

Congratulations....

Hello everyone, I just got my approval today and the status was updated to New Card Is Being Produced.

I received Request For Evidence on May 6, and resubmit the package on Jun 2. Exactly 10 days, i got my case approved. I wouldn't expect they could handle that fast!

Congratulations....

I would go if I were you, I dont trust USCIS timeline, they keep on changing their processing timeline out of no where, they don't have definite timeline, they will change it as long as they want for their own convenient.

The extension letter is valid for one year from the date of:

      A: GC expiry date ?

B: The date which is mention of I-797 ?

Sorry if the question is silly.
