Question about interview instruction

Hello, I had questions about one of the instructions. I called the number on the letter, but they just repeated what was printed on it. That didn't help.

 

It says to bring a completed I-693 medical exam and vaccination supplement unless already submitted. They took my sealed packet at the airport for my K1 visa. Does this mean it's already submitted? That was my only one and they didn't give it back.

 

It asks for a complete I-864 Affidavit of support and supporting documents, unless already submitted. I submitted this info twice, once with the AOS and once with the RFE. Do they need it again or does it count as already submitted?

Your medical was less than a year ago and vaccination sheet marked complete? If so, no need to bring one (I didn't, and was fine).

 

Since your interview is after April 15th, they may want to see 2016 tax returns. It won't hurt to bring a copy of the other documents either.

as the first reply stated ... no need for a new medical .. yours was done less then a year and you didn't get RFE about it .. so it is considered submitted and completed.

same thing apply for the affiditive of support, however, since you got RFE for it you need to take copies and more evidences if possible. focus on joined documents like bank statements credit card, rent, car, health insurance. whatever you can get with your both names on it.

 

Note : if at the interview the Officer decide you need a new medical .. don't panic (you are not going to be denied) .. it will be just like an RFE .. go get it done and submitted it ASAP.
