Traveling West and Amtrak

Colorado is beautiful, too! Don't just use it as a jumping off point to other places. I've been living there on and off for the past two years. It's pretty awesome, especially in the fall.

I've been to Colorado loads...I agree it is lovely

and we will see somethings. But we are starting there so we can see some good friends that live in Denver.

We took Amtrak from St. Louis to Chicago, a 6 hour trip, and I hated it. Way too long to just sit there. Not much to look at as the train speeds by. And, if you get stuck near anyone who talks constantly, God help you.

I would never take it again.

We were kinda thinking the train would be more for like a short run somewhere.

I almost think I've abandoned the idea.

We shall see!
