IF YOU DONT MIND ME ASKING...IS THE NEW FINGERPRINT(S) INIATED DUE TO YOUR RENEWED EAD?ARE THEY TAKING A WHOLE SET OF FINGERPRINTS OR JUST A SINGLE ONE. WE HAD TO REDO OURS RECENTLY BUT WE THOUGHT THAT WAS JUST FOR THE EAD AND EXPIRATION OF THE CURRENT ONES. YOU HAVE BEEN SUCH A GREAT HELP ALONG THIS JOURNEY TO ALOT OF US AS WELL!!

Well, who knows if the renewal of his EAD in January triggered his file or not. These sorts of things will probably always remain a 'mystery' to all of us.

We also had a person with 'connections' checking into our file. No - it is not an elected representative, and no I'm not really at liberty to say who it is. That person did say he couldn't technically do anything to move our file along, but I do know he was in a position to reach individuals an elected representative would not be able to reach. So - it could be that a simple inquiry on our contacts part helped move the file along.

Or - and I would say this is most likely the case - it could be that the namecheck ran its course and just finished itself up naturally.

The 'reprint' has nothing to do with the EAD. The original set of 10 prints expired last month (for those of you who are unaware, prints are only good for 15 months). I can tell you that for renewal of EAD, only one print was taken - and for this 'reprint' they will take an entire 10 digits. We will make the trip to Charleston WV either Thursday or Friday (depending on which day Wes can get away from work) to have the reprint done.

I emailed our adjudicating officer this morning and he responded with his usual reserve. He said that after the prints are collected, an adjudicator will look over our file, and we could expect a 'decision' in about a month.
