Checking in... my wife's original scan date was December 13, 2016. Got a checklist on February 26 due to a birth certificate not being the correct format. Set an original certified copy and explained it has all the required marks per the state department site and they received it on March 2. I was told at that time it would take 30 days for them to re-review our case. Two weeks later was told it will be 11 weeks. 

Nothing really I can do but pray.

Could anyone tell me why my https://ceac.state.gov status went from N/A to Complete? Thank you for your help. I just confused on why they went from N/A April 21, 2017,  to COMPLETE on May 01, 2017. Am I near the end of the process?. Thank you everyone for your help. A. James.

They made updates to the portal.  No more N/As indicating case completes.  You'll have to call to check status going forward or simply wait for notification of an interview date around 8-11 weeks after the scan date.  If you're already there, call them to check.

This screenshot shows someone who used a lawyer and was not required to pay an AOS Fee since they paid both fees together.

In addition, this is also exactly what is displayed for those who aren't close to case complete since NVC updated all N/As to Completed a few days ago.

 

Mine is showing the same right now with an AOS line showing "PAID" but I haven't even submitted my documents yet.  Is there something else I'm missing?

  • 10-17-2022:  Requested assistance from local Congressman
  • 11-28-2022:  Congressman's office received USCIS statement that "application has been identified as a potential interview waiver application"
  • 03-27-2023:  USCIS Requested additional evidence "as it has been several years since you've submitted this petition" 
  • 05-13-2023:  Sent RFE response via USPS certified Priority mail
  • 05-17-2023:  USCIS received RFE packet
  • 05-19-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “New Card is Being Produced" 
  • 05-22-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “Case Was Approved" 
  • 05-24-2023:  USCIS case status updated to reflect new Green Card was mailed

Maybe because you paid those fees already? I've paid the fees and have submitted my documents.
