My CC was on May 8th and my interview has been scheduled for June 15th.  It seems like such little time

in order to prepare everything!  I am already overwhelmed thinking about all the things I need to organize and the travel plans I need to make.  Are there any threads about the next steps to take after the interview has been scheduled and preparation tips for the interview?  I need all the help I can get!  Thank you and good luck to everyone!

Hey guys, is It possible to get an email from NVC saying you're in queue for an interview and all necessary documents have been reviewed without seeing the avidavit of support disappear?

I'm surprised as to how the mailing system is faster then the website update.

This was the mail I received

11-MAY-17

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case.  The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicants visa application.

NVC schedules appointments one month in advance.  The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified.  Most appointments are set within three months of NVCs receipt of all requested documentation.  However, before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current.  This can delay receipt of an appointment.  You can track your priority date using the Visa Bulletin on travel.state.gov.

When an appointment is available, we will notify the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable).  The applicant can prepare now by reading about the embassys interview requirements online at nvc.state.gov/interview. Thank you for your patience.

The embassy may require additional documents at the interview.  For example, if the following three items are all true, the applicant must bring a new police certificate to the visa interview:

He or she is more than 16 years old;
The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
He or she still lives in the country that issued the certificate.

The applicant should not make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the embassy has issued a visa.

Sincerely,

National Visa Center

2nd scan date March 8

Has anyone experienced this before?

Did you contact the nvc to confirm a cc? If so, please update the questionnaire.

Thanks

my case is so complicated. I had a checklist asking to make correction in my affidavit of support, but I did not know that I had to send the whole application back, I only sent the page corrected. they sent me another one asking for the whole application ; the received  it on 02/15/17 they told  me I will hear from them in 6 weeks. 6 weeks later they said now it 11 weeks , so they added 5 more weeks which was due on Mai 3rd . Here I am waiting and waiting still for what I don't know.
