Does anyone have any advice for this situation?

We emailed our documents last week (doing EP) and they sent a checklist for things that were supposedly missing, but they weren't.  Every time we call the NVC they automatically say that they are waiting for the documents on the checklist.  It took talking to three different people the other day for a supervisor to say at the end that our emails haven't been reviewed so they don't know what we have sent and what we haven't.  So basically, just wait for them to review it.  Our concern is that when someone gets to our review they will just see the checklist and think, they haven't responded to it so we won't look at the documents.  Do people think we should just reply to the checklist and email the supposed missing documents again?  Nobody will really give us a firm answer as to whether we should do that or not which is so frustrating.  I'm concerned if we send another email, our scan date will change again, but if we don't, they won't even look at our emails until they get the checklist cover sheet.  Such a dilemma!

Well, I understand your situation.

Since you have already tried reaching out to NVC to check on your other email, and they haven't you should consider sending those documents again. EP is lightning fast and you should not worry about re-setting the scan date.In your case; re-sending the documents can speed up the process as NVC is in no mood of looking up the other email you sent.  Just think about it in peace and do what's right to speed up the process. Good Luck!

Thanks, that's what I think we'll do.  Nobody will ever really help us when we call whilst this checklist jumps out at them as soon as they bring up our case!

How long after sending your documents in did they scan them?  I am not able to sign into the ceac site because they say I need to send my documents.  The NVC received our documents on April 25.

Hi Krysten. Normally it takes 1-2 days after receiving them. For example. Tracking confirmed that the NVC received my documents on April 24th. When calling the NVC on the 26th, they confirmed receipt and gave me a scan date of April 25th.

Please join our forum. We all submitted documents via mail and have scan dates in April.

The portal login is changed to this. This makes it official, Your "Affidavit of support (AOS)" tab disappears when you have your CC.

Our Case was completed on March 03, 2017; but the portal changed on March 04, 2017 between 04:30 AM - 5:30 AM EST. It seems the status update on website/portal is carried out in batches. We were informed of our case complete over phone. I asked my wife to call too, just to be sure because portal had not been updated.

Now the wait for interview begins. Good luck Everyone. You will hear good news soon.
