NVC Filers - May 2017

Just got my CC....Second scan date (As pp was missing and i sent proactively) : 22nd of Feb

Now what dears????

 

N.B. : MY first time ever  to post here but i keep checking the thread like a crazy every other hour every day....so useseful  and empathehtic to read similar issues all over the world ....

Congrat!!! this is a great news thats mean they are working on all Feb scan dates now..

I hope they work fast because my paper has been under review since the 28th and its only 1 piece of paper witch is a passport copy and I keep calling and they keep saying it's still under review

Not yet.  I'm trying to be patient.  Plus we are still working on getting the police certificate and I'd rather get that first and then find out the date...don't ask why, just the way my brain works.

What police certificate are you needing to get? From Mexico?

Yes, the police certificate from Mexico.  Does you husband have his?

No, I had no idea about this. Our attorney said for him to get police certificates for everywhere he lived from 16yr old and up.

at 16 he was already in the US

Does anyone have any advice for this situation?

 

We emailed our documents last week (doing EP) and they sent a checklist for things that were supposedly missing, but they weren't.  Every time we call the NVC they automatically say that they are waiting for the documents on the checklist.  It took talking to three different people the other day for a supervisor to say at the end that our emails haven't been reviewed so they don't know what we have sent and what we haven't.  So basically, just wait for them to review it.  Our concern is that when someone gets to our review they will just see the checklist and think, they haven't responded to it so we won't look at the documents.  Do people think we should just reply to the checklist and email the supposed missing documents again?  Nobody will really give us a firm answer as to whether we should do that or not which is so frustrating.  I'm concerned if we send another email, our scan date will change again, but if we don't, they won't even look at our emails until they get the checklist cover sheet.  Such a dilemma!

Welcome to the waiting club.  I haven't even gotten a scan date yet, still waiting
