Ladies and gentlemen....we might have a winner. Please checkout this post. This might be the case. It is pretty much what we are speculating over here. We'll have to wait for some more CCs to be sure about it.

So we can say that when the AOS part is gone that means CC

Hi all,

My lawyer sent my civil documents by e-mail last week, but I realized that she did not follow the instructions on the Document Cover Sheet correctly. She did not select the option "NOT applicable"/ "Not needed" for the documents that are not relevant to my case. She also sent all the documents in several PDF files, instead of sending everything in one PDF file. Also, she made an error on my case number when she typed it on the subject line of the email. Have you heard of anyone that got a check list for doing something similar? Do you think that this situation might cause me to get a  check list? I was really made at her for not paying attention to details .... I am freaking out and hope that everything will go smoothly.

Thank you everyone for your insight!

Despite what what it says on the Ceac website, you don't send all the documents in one PDF. The NVC website specially instructs to attach each document separately.

As for the wrong case number, id be not happy about that!! Attention to detail! Can you not get your lawyer to resend the email and correct the case number and cover sheet. It won't really delay your case since it's just been sent and doing EP is much faster.

I will definitely have her send another email with the right case number. I am just afraid it will count as a duplicate case --- I don't know! I so frustated with her.

what does EP mean? Sorry I don't know :)

EP is electronic processing.  Only a few countries allow documents to be emailed.  It tends to be a lot faster for review.  Most have been complete approx. two weeks after emailing, instead of the 11 weeks for manual processing.  The NVC will never tell you that, but everyone knows it's faster:)

That's awesome! I never knew that emailing is faster than manual processing. I thought that my CC would happen like 11 weeks from now. I talked to my lawyer and she will resend everything today. Thank you so much for your input. It was really helpful. I hope you will get CC soon :)

Hi all,

My account just changed within 2 hours from submit required documents to At NVC

Also, the login page changed as well.

So I went ahead and called NVC and confirmed CC!

Scan date 2-23-17

When the AOS line disappeared is also when my case status changed.
