Hmm.. maybe because you're doing email processing so it's actually in the review stage?  Would be awesome if that's the case..  hopefully you'll get through to them.. try tonight around 11:30pm their time.. oh the suspense..  

 

Would be awesome if our status are now being updating in real time..

Lol I give up trying to figure the new portal out.  I'm going to take a wild guess that when case completes, AOS section disappears, then returns when your case is at the embassy (thanks @Auds for confirming).

Seems like Raiser's status contradicts that since his is in progress and he does not have an AOS section.

 

I'm just going to start spam calling NVC at 8 weeks :) 

 

Documents just signed for by NVC...now to wait for a scan date.

Your status was exactly what it said for one of my daughter's (yesterday) the one whose Case was Complete but not in queue for interview due to her sister's file being on hold.

 

I don't think that info helps but just updating.

MY  I130 sent to NVC yesterday . I have couple of questions on IV & AOS package. The beneficiary ( Wife) is in India

 

1. Police Clearance certificate , do i need to obtain it in local police station?

2. I am US citizen , stayed in  India last 3 years, moved back to US in Dec'2016 . Did not file taxes for the last 3 years, as my earning in India would be around $15K or less per annum, i was not aware that i need to file taxes even when i am abroad. I do have a job  now in US which pays around 100k per annum, do  i need a joint sponsor for AOS package?

I have the answer for your first question. You can obtain PCC by logging into Passport Seva website and requesting for PCC. You need to complete the application form and then you will have to schedule an interview with Passport office. You will get the certificate soon after the interview.

 

For other question, I'm sure someone with better understanding will reply soon. Good luck.
