Status on CEAC just changed to "Issued" a few moments ago! Hoping we get that DHL number by tomorrow!

Congrats!  Not sure which embassy you're, but it took about 2 days from the status change for my wife's passport to leave the embassy.  She had the visa in hand about 4 days after the status changed to "ISSUED".

US Embassy Manila.

US Embassy Manila.

We just got the waybill number today. Tracking says "shipment information received", so I can only assume DHL is capable of delivering a package by next day within the same city. If that is the case, we could potentially fly out Saturday morning, provided the passport is available for pickup tomorrow. If not, we have to wait until Monday. Wish DHL were open on Saturday...

Watching our DHL package update online. A couple hours ago it was picked up from the embassy, now it shows as processed at the DHL center. So if the passport is at DHL this morning, and we are having it delivered within the same city, it could be delivered before the day ends, right? It says that delivery is estimated for Monday, but I don't believe it if the package is at DHL this morning.

Just had my visa interview today and got Approved!!! I am so ecstatic to being almost ready to go back to the US and reunite with my husband!

The status still says ready, it hasn't been changed to Administrative processing but I was told that my passport should be ready next week for picking up.

Good luck to the rest of the VJ family waiting on interview dates/interviews!

After my wife's was picked up the status was "received by courier".  The next was "arrived at courier facility".  Next was "in transit"   Then "arrived at location, ready for pickup by customer".  That was on the 3rd business day.  My wife picked up her packet the next morning as soon as they opened.

So, from "issued" to visa in hand was about 5 business days total.

that was her experience with the courier service in the Philippines .  But I think the embassy tries to get them out as soon as they can.

One thing for sure, it's on its way!

CEAC status: ISSUED.    May 5

Visa packet in hand.   May 9.

We provided pictures from all our years (powerpoint with 2-3 pictures/slide and  explanation of the pictures-year and who were with), common bank accounts, skype and whatsapp calls, health insureance that shows we had common coverage.

For income we had the tax returns. I was asked to provide my husband's 2016 tax return at the inteeview since when we filed we obly had up to 2015 at the time.

I just got the email today after waiting about a week and a half from when I phoned (turns out I phoned the day it was scheduled!). I would suggest waiting on scheduling flights or whatever though. The email says my interview is three days later than the NVC guy said it was on the phone!

Edit: CC date was April 17.

Congratulations and Good Luck on your up coming interviews. :dancing:
