Yes but it is my understanding that embassies provide the calendar with available dates to NVC at the end of each month and NVC schedules the appointments accordingly. If so, holidays in our countries should not intervene with scheduling as that process is done in the US by the NVC. A holiday would mean that no interviews will be conducted that day not that NVC cannot schedule interviews for June on a May holiday. Does that make sense?

Hoping this will be our week everyone.

Some of you mentioned that the embassies are closed today... but this doesn't prevent NVC from scheduling an interview for your country, if in fact the NVC already has the spreadsheet from your embassy/consulate of the slots available for this month. We could very well get scheduled today. :)

It also should be noted that some embassies skip scheduling for a month or two depending on what diplomatic activities they have going on and the amount of availability for that month. So those who have been waiting as long as I have or more to be scheduled an interview, just note this is a possible reason of why we have not been scheduled yet. But I am very, very hopeful that June is our month. :)

Stumbled across a list of scheduled appointments for your embassy current as at Friday the 28th and it didn't have any June appointment

Sorry.  I am petitioning for my mom.  Our Scan date is: 2/2/2017 and CC: 04/17/2017.  Waiting on Interview at the Santiago, Chile consulate.  Am I on the right thread?  How do I find other immigrant visa cases for the Santiago consulate?  Thanks for the help.

I believe this is the thread you need. You will find generic info here. You may want to do a post specifically targeting people from your country to draw them out. Or do a search on VJ for your country's general forum.
