Hello guys I checked my status still IN-TRANSIT since May 8, 1 week already. How long it takes to change READY?  How I know if my case already left NVC?

Thanks, God Bless you all.

In transit means it has left the NVC. It took about 1 week for my wife's status to change.

Hey guys! So it's been such a hectic week but our interview was on may 8! my husband FINALLY got his visa! Thank god because we were so stressed out and everything went smoothly. They didn't ask him for much, just how we met, where we met, when did he know he wanted to marry, how long have we been married and that's all! His visa was appeoved on the spot. His interview was Monday, we were able to pick up his visa on Thursday. So only 3-4 days! Currently looking for a flight to book for in early July. I really wish you all the best of luck and thank you to everyone on here for all the advice and help!

Just finished writing our review of the embassy. I made sure to detail every single step of the process inside the embassy, so anyone going through Buenos Aires will have a clear picture of what to expect.

Overall, very quick and efficient process. The people were friendly and the questions were easy. In and out in less than a couple hours. The majority of the time we were just sitting and waiting to be called in for the interview.

Those waiting for your interview, relax! You've made it through the worst and the interview is just the cherry on top.

@Diana94 & @cordoba2015 - Huge Congratulations!!! :)

I just called NVC and confirmed that our case has been sent to Consulate. I noticed the Portal and Status changes this morning and wanted to confirm when our case was sent to consulate.

The CEAC case status and portal looks like this now. I am now able to see AOS tab again.

Congratulations! Is the  $220 for a separate visa fee after the interview? If so, where do you pay it?

My visa was approved today. I didn't get any instructions on how to pay USCIS fee. Where do I go to psy fees?

We were given a paper at the interview with our A number and case number. You need both to pay the fee online. No fee, no green card.

No problem! I think it is ridiculous that they ask for even more money after all that has to be paid just to get an interview, but what can you do? Immigration is worth the cost.

I agree. Especially for those who have hired immigration attorneys or used a service.

My wife's visa got approved today as well.. At some consulate they dont give the A# right away. That is printed on the passport when they print the visa. So you will be able to pay the fees after you collect the passport.
