We're just walking distance (or a very short drive) from El Sherouk, so Ahmed will be going there.

Are they not scheduling any more dates until end of the month? I thought I had an "easy" embassy and would get an appointment right away.  The rep at NVC told me to be patient and that "first you will get mail that your case is complete (did not get it yet, CC 5/2), then after that you will be informed of when your invteview date will be." But surely some people were informed of dates right after CC? I am just impatient and it is so hard to wait to make plans.

We had our interview date assigned a week after case complete, halfway through last month. They should still be scheduling through this week, as last month they scheduled all the way into the third week.

 

Our interview was assigned a month in advance, but we had to have our medical done in the same trip since we live far from the embassy. So basically we had 3 weeks to get ready to make the trip over to Buenos Aires from the day we were notified about the interview date. It was tough having life put on hold until they gave us a date, and then only having a short amount of time to plan the trip, but we did the best we could to plan ahead.

 

Best of luck to you! We are headed to the embassy doctor's office in an hour. Hopefully it doesn't rain hard here like it did yesterday.

Our CC was 05/03, but we haven't received any email yet.

I did. You'll probably receive it tomorrow mine came on the 7th day as well.

That's great! Good luck on your medical, insha'Allah everything will go well. 

 

Ahmed is going to go to Anglo as well. He could get a slot early enough at Sherouk.. they would not scheduled before the 25th of May. Due to his work schedule he would not have been able to go on the 25th, and any date afterwards as you see we'll be in Ramadan. So we called Anglo and found they were much more flexible. We'll be there on the 18th

Just finished the medical today! We had everything done this morning; it was nice getting it all finished at once. Lots of sitting around and waiting, but the results are in and we are almost done! Interview on Monday and then we can be finished with this long, miserable process!

A rep at NVC just told me "they will not begin to schedule until the end of the month." I asked him if that was for June or July he said "I don´t have that information." I guess that means I don´t get an appointment until July.
