Case Complete to Interview June 2017

Scan date 02/27. case completed on 05/04, received checklist on 05/05 that to submit 1-864a during interview with original sig. waiting for interview date now....any idea how long it take to get interview date after case completed. US consulate Islamabad, Pakistan

Question : I know most cases are Family/Fiance/Spouse based petitions, my question is about Employment based, I was reading somewhere that Interviews are scheduled for employment based petitions much later like 3~4 weeks later than above mentioned petition types. Is this right? Thanks!

Haven't gotten on here since we've been busy getting everything ready for the interview. But my husband just went in to the consulate and I could not be any more nervous. So many things going through my head, "did I forget something" "what if they say no because of this or that" but I'm leaving it all in God's hands. I'm a nervous wreck 😟😩😰 and the long wait for him to get out doesn't help. Any way good luck to everyone and congrats to those that successfully got through this final step and is finally with their loved one.

Yes I did 😊. Most of the questions from the immigration officers seems to be directed at people with K1 visa. Those with CR1 visa looks like they cruised in easily 😜😜

We made it to Buenos Aires! Medical is tomorrow, interview in a week! So exciting, we could have the visa in hand next week!

I am just wondering if you guys can share the series of questions asked for an immigrant visa - parents?

I am just curious and we would like to prepare better for the interview.

NVC status changed to "In Transit" on 5/8

My Natalia on ceac still says at NVC even though an interview has been scheduled.

Sometimes it take time before it says 'In Transit' after the interview was scheduled. Hopefully the status will change soon. Have you received the P4 letter yet via email?
