Sorry for the delay in reporting back. It's been a whirlwind couple of days.  I had my interview yesterday 4th May (here in NZ we're a day ahead of some of you), and I'm happy to report I GOT APPROVED!!  Arrived at the embassy at 9.55am, and was all done and out of there by 10.45am.  I found them to be very friendly and easygoing, and will do my full report (I wrote it all down yesterday) for a review.  The people before me got Administrative Processing, I could hear their interview. It was their 3rd time but I recall one of them had worked for a foreign government, so I think this had something to do with it.

I can't believe after 13.5 months this whole process is over.  I wish everyone waiting on their interview the best of luck.  Don't be nervous, be yourself, be honest.  I'll still be on here to support you all and answer questions :-)

Case complete: 14th April

Interview date: 4th May (I had an expedite)

Congratulations!!

That's great!

Ahmed called Al Sherouk Hospital yesterday (as this is closer to us than Anglo-American), and he scheduled for the 27th of May. They told him that they have the results ready after 10 days exactly after doing the medical examination, so they didn't want to schedule any earlier than the date mentioned above.

Call whichever hospital you are planning on going to (Al Sherouk or Anglo-American) and ask them the dates they have available already. We tried to schedule before Ramadan, but it took likes we will catch the first day(s). (Still not sure which day it will fall on precisely 26,27.)

Good luck. :goofy:

Al Sheriouk hospital &Anglo 20 minutes away from home Giza but which one better

Hi @Eddy 49 I've been told by people who've gone to both, that both hospitals are very good. I do not think one is better than the other in this situation. Most of the other Egyptian couples have gone to El Sherouk, but I have known 2 others to go to Anglo; all had positive experiences.

We're just walking distance (or a very short drive) from El Sherouk, so Ahmed will be going there.

my embassy is "5-10 working days" but each embassy is different. Your P4 letter which you get when your interview is scheduled should tell you. Mine did.

Hello!

After the interview is scheduled, there is this "register to a courier service". I was wondering, what website can I go to in order to register. There is a link in the nvc but it just links me to this:

https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/

im not sure if I am correct to do this.

if you guys have idea about this, let me know.

Thank you. by the way, we are from Philippines.
