I will be mailing documents to my fiance in the Philippines soon. I have read lots of information as to what carrier to use. The problem is she lives in Occidental Mindoro (a small province) does anyone know if fedex delivers there? Or could I use USPS Global Express delivery? I definitely don't want to use the regular USPS.

thanks everyone!

Contact FedEx and ask them,  they will be able to tell you.  Make sure you have the postal code and address handy.  UPS and DHL are other options to consider.  Again contact them and you can get an idea of transit time and cost.  Good luck!!

FedEx uses 2go once it arrives in the Philippines. Once your package arrives it will go thru customs and then afterward departing customs, 2go will text your fiancée, but only if you have her name and cell phone number on the package slip, and she then can call them to arrange for pickup or delivery once you give her the tracking number.  If she would like to pick it up at their location they will provide directions to get the package. I hope this helps.

Did I say anything about caring about saving money? My concern is she lives in a province and she doesn't have all the same options available to her.

...   people trying to help here.

Use FEDEX, and like suggested if you are concerned about delivery to the house check if there is a local office in the nearest city where the package can be retrieved.

I know people are trying to help I appreciate it. But that particular person is brand new and contributed nothing. All he did was agree with you guys.

She has family in Manila, so I can send it there  if I absolutely have to.

I never cared much for FedEX myself, their rates are very high. I have used DHL in the past and have been very happy with their service. I know LBC also offers air service now, but that would probably only be good if you have an LBC office close to you. I would NEVER use USPS. USPS is not the problem, the problem is when it gets handed over to the PhilPost. Good luck!

Thanks!!! I'll let you guys know! I still have a little while I have to get my fb chat logs printed out and print off my phone call logs, so I have a bit more to do. Just preparing in advance!

I use to use DHL to send stuff to my wife in Mindanao all the time and we had no issues at all even though my wife lived in a remote town. They will call her to set up a delivery date and time, or if she wanted to save the time and just pick it up in person.

Another option would be LBC depending on where in the USA you live you can find the nearest LBC. They can ship it within there within one week and cost is somewhat cheap.
