IR 5- Bringing a parent to the US (merged)

I, a US citizen by marriage, plan to file an I-130 for my mother. She currently lives overseas. Do I fill out the I 130, and send to the Consulate in her home country? If so, who do I make the package attention to?

no, you send it to a lockbox, read the instructions and it will tell you which service center you should send it, depending on which state you live in

After my wife receives her US citizenship, we plan to bring her mother to the US on an IR-5.  We easily meet the minimum financial requirement under the I-864.  However, my wife does not work.  Will this be an issue when we file?

I married my wife on a K 1 visa.  As part of the K 1 process, a medical exam is required.  Is a medical exam required for a parent of a US citizen when filing the I 130?

Yes everybody who immigrate have to have a medical exam.

Depending on their age, the vaccination requirements will be different but they will still have to undergo a medical exam.
