This standard template confuses pretty much everybody. A lot of people think that the cases were approved by the field office just because the address was shown on the bottom of the letter.

 

Another delay factor could be the new card design. Starting today, they will be printing the GCs in a different design. Who knows maybe they were holding on the recent approvals so that they print those in the new design.

My approval was 4/12/2017 and was mailed 5/1/2017. Hope to receive it sometime this week. For the Vermont center, In my case, it about 2 weeks for them to request for the card, and then another week for them to mail and deliver the card.
