Thanks Mr President:jest:

The US economy grew by 0.7% in the first quarter, weaker than expected, according to an advance estimate of gross domestic product from the Department of Commerce released Friday.

It was the slowest pace in three years, weighed down by weak consumer spending even though business investment was healthy.

Economists had forecast GDP rose at an annualized rate of 1%, according to Bloomberg.

The slowdown from the fourth quarter, when the economy grew 2.1%, is in line with the sluggishness that has characterized every first quarter in this recovery.

Anddddd...I will say what I already said before, this is expected, baked in the cake and has nothing at all to do with Trump. I fully expect a recession during his term regardless of what he does or doesn't do. For that matter, had Obama (hypothetically of course) gotten a third term, there would be one under him as well. Not saying Trump can't make things slightly better, or much worse(protectionism isn't going to help), but that's about it.

Totally agree with you on this. If you have been watching the economy the last year you can tell by the indicators that it was slowing down. So this is nothing new and not on Trump at all.

Even if the president did determine what the economy does(and he doesn't), it's laughable to blame Trump for the first quarter when he wasn't even president for the whole quarter lol.

What is on Trump? Him claiming he can get the economy to grow at 3% or more. He's going to end up with some serious egg on his face, and that will be(and already is) laughable as well. As I said before I have no agenda but the truth, I call it like it is.

Recall that calls to impeach Trump were coming from the left before Trump was even inaugurated. Should begin to tell you that they can't be in the slightest bit logical.

I think it will happen by the end of the year so let's just give it time. He is trying to loosen up the reins to let business and the economy grow.

What will happen by the end of he year? 3% growth? I'm talking annual, so sure one quarter might, other than that it's a pipe dream.

Yes 3% growth at least by the end of the year for the year. I don't think it's a pipe dream at all. The reins just need to be loosened up so the economy can go full speed ahead.
