I-129f Form Bugged?

Some of the columns doesn't work it seems like address 1 cant be filled out but address 2 can

Would it be okay to fill up partially and fill the rest with ink or maybe use photoshop on it or 

 

Also what is a USCIS Account number do i need to make one or leave that part blank

+No neither of us ever filed for anything before

No, since it is a 2D barcode form you have to fill it out fully electronic or fully in ink. Not a combination. 

The 2 D forms alot of times give problems when opened from the link or in the web browser. What  you have to do is first download the Form, then open Adobe Reader - open the downloaded form using -File -Open... this will work. Again... don't click the download link or open in webbrowser.

You don't have this number yet. It is the same as the intending immigrant's A-number, which you will get with the NOA2.

It might not hurt to change your PDF application or try another device. I'm not seeing the issue.

 

I would not suggest using photoshop or other image editing tools for anything with immigration. You need to be able to truthfully claim that all the forms are originals. But you can use ink on the I-129F. Certain forms must be filled out either entirely electronically or entirely by hand, but nothing with the K-1 visa process is setup this way.

 

If you don't have one, then you don't need to provide it. This is for the uscis.gov website (https://www.uscis.gov/file-online). If you didn't signup for an account there, then you don't have one. Note that this is different than using their Case Tracker tool or signing up for notifications using the tool.

Oh shoot I read the page wrong! https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-updates/uscis-form-improvements-initiative

it was on that list so I just assumed the "improvement" was the 2D ... thanks for correcting my "senior moment"

 

Ignore that part OP mix all you want,  but if you want to write it all electronically- then open as explained.

No worries its all helpful anyways! I'll definitely want it to all be electronic so it all looks neat and stuff.

I do notice that the form has changed too added more parts to it? Haven't seen em in other examples

Yeah, the new I-129F includes the information from the 2 x G-325As that used to be required.

Yea you fill in biographical data in it as well now... I can only assume to not have to have the separate g325a...

If using the new I-129F, it's no longer included in the instructions to send the G-325As. Some people have now sent the new I-129F without them and they were accepted (none have been approved yet AFAIK, but the forms were at least accepted so they weren't incomplete).

It's the only thing that has changed "keep calm and fill forms"

I wrote up a few references here, but honestly it's on the slim side of things as most people are actually sending the G-325A still. And honestly, I don't blame them until USCIS confirms it (like they did recently by saying the G-325A wasn't needed on the new I-130 packet).

 

I'd say it's best to still send them until there is an official stance on the G-325As with the new I-129F. Sucks, I know, but better safe than sorry. I'll start a thread here to see if I can at least get a consensus moving forward.
