I have my interview in Fairfax VA tomorrow - and I am wondering if the tropical storm may impact the USCIS offices being open or not. Is there any page I should particularly watch? I checked their official homepage but didn't see anything.

If you did not mention that Traffic Citation in your n400, then you don’t have to bring it.
I mentioned mine, because I got it couple months befor I was filing my n400

Yeah I mentioned everything I could remember because the question was "have you ever..." so I didn't wanna knowingly leave stuff out (incase they find out).

let's see what's my recourse.

Thanks again.

Congrats to all the newly minted US citizens.

I filed in Feb and my estimated case completion shows OCT 2020 and estimated wait time shows 5 days. Anyone has a similar timeline? or is it very likely my interview gets rescheduled due to furloughs and what not.

Anything else I should prepare for beside the 100 interview questions and knowing everything in my N400? Any supporting docs I should take beside GC etc?  Thanks for your time.

We filed the day before you according to the spreadsheet and just checked and the estimated wait time shows 4 days.  Then again a week ago, it showed 7 days...ticking down at least.  We just don't want to make any travel plans before getting this scheduled (not that we're doing anything exotic anyway).

My immigration journey came to an end today. I had my interview and oath today! I am so happy and exhausted!

Were they offering the same-day oaths to everyone?

hi everyone. I'm a 3-year filer with pending I-751. N400 filed with DC office early November 2019 and did biometrics early December 2019.

This week I had two notices that my I751 has been transferred, so I'm hoping that signals my N400 interview is coming up soon - I saw that a late September filer was interviewed recently so it seems that early November filer interview notices may be starting to arrive soon (fingers crossed)

n400

11/12/19 - filed

12/06/19 - biometrics

08/24/19 - interview scheduled

I filled my n400 in September 2019.
I got my interview in July 2020

My Oath ceremony is scheduled on August 17, 2020.

I guess you have to get news about your cases in a month or two.
I hope you will get it soon. Good luck to you.

That's my rough estimate too - if we are lucky we might expect the appointment letter this month (hope the furlough gets postponed..). Thanks! and enjoy the oath ceremony

For recent 319(b) naturalizations, how long did the interview take?  And for those who had the oath same day, did it immediately follow the interview, one-on-one, or you had to wait there for a group to accumulate, or they told you to come back later in the same day?

Thanks - we have our interview tomorrow!  Applied Feb 2020.

You dont have to bring a copy of your N400 for them, but you can have it just in case if you would like to check something there before the interview starts.

You have to bring the I-751 form with you, cuz You have to show it to the clerk, so the clerk know that you arrived.

You have to bring the entire I-751 (petition to remove conditions from green card) to show the clerk?  Or you mean bring the appointment notice?

I am sorry my bad. I meant an appointment letter. All these forms have almost the same numbers.

So, yeah you have to bring your appointment letter (mine is called  Form-I797C) and show it to the lady at the registration desk. She checks if you are in her list and tell you what to do.

Hi nani,

the 319 (b) filers have their interviews on Tuesday mornings and the ceremony is usually in the afternoon. I had mine scheduled for 09:30 am (got called in around 09:45 or 09:50). The interview was brief and I think it may have taken 20 min but I wasn’t watching the time. I went back at 02:30 pm for my oath ceremony on the same day.
