Thanks, How long did it take for you to get the approval after the interview?

Also, I live in DC so, I think there is no Congressional rep for DC. Could you please give me more information.

I appreciate it.

Delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton is our non-voting rep. Her case assistance officers tend to have good relationships with USCIS, and they often get answers to inquiries in 3-4 weeks or earlier. You can reach them at https://norton.house.gov/services/help-with-a-federal-agency (or email them at norton.casework@mail.house.gov). Be sure to include the privacy authorization form.

Thank you very much,

I will email her, but I'm not sure if I understand clearly what you mean by Privacy authorization?

Also, If you don't mind. Could you please let me know how long it took you to get the approval after your interview.

Appreciate your quick response.

Click the link in my previous comment. You'll see the privacy authorization form. It allows the rep speak to USCIS about your case on your behalf.

My case was slightly different. I had to interview two times. The first time, the officer ended the interview early insisting he wanted my long-delayed I-751 adjudicated, and the very next day I contacted the rep for help. Took about 3 weeks from to hear back, then another 2 weeks for USCIS to make a decision on the I-751.

Thank you very much, I hope you done with everything.

This waiting is so annoying. I don't know when I will get this done and feel free.

What's the typical wait time from approval to oath in Washington DC proper, please? The waiting and the uncertainty are killing me sof'ly!

I have my interview on June 26, 2019 and until now didn't header anything, no approval no oat, no I-751 approval either.

So sucks.

One of the reasons of delay is quality control for certain cases. Can you check here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

see if there is any other additional info available.

All-in-on, DC field office is not behaving normally, there haven't been any new interview scheduled in month of July.

The last update on my online profile is interview notice, no updates even after the interview.

Can you elect your case to be processed in another office? 485 filer here and I'm horrified by how much longer DC office takes to do their job compare to other offices.

Used to be 160-175 days for interview after filing. Now, people who should have had their interview,  haven't even got interview notice.

not gonna lie, this is getting more frustrating by the week when we've seen almost no progress out of the DC office in the last 2 or 3 weeks it seems.

Just curious, for you (and others in DC FO), what is your estimated wait time on status page?

My estimated wait time is 2 months. I applied March 4th and had my biometrics done March 29th.

My estimated completion time varies from November 2019 during the day to December 2019 at night...🤪

We never saw this spreadsheet before; if we did, we would certainly would have entered our dates.  Very well done to whomever painstakingly and accurately mined this information from our posts!   Hope you all get interview dates soon.

Based on others experience, I think "estimated wait time" refers to time remaining for scheduling interview and "completion time" is total case completion time, including oath ceremony. 2 months wait for scheduling interview for you is unreal. I hope I am wrong.
