I do not :)

Looks like those take 2-3 months to schedule in DC area :( My interview is on 6/26, let me know when you get any updates!

Ahh I really hope not. Especially because I am planning to move the end of July and would love to get this over with instead of having to file for a change of address and complicate/delay things further...

Will definitely update the thread. Best of luck on your interview! :)

Thank you very much, Appreciate your quick response.

Same office, different experience here. Dunno whether my situation is rare, but officer said my I-751 was still under the jurisdiction of VSC, even though I saw what looked like my I-751 package on his desk! ☹️ Then he asked me for written proof that I was confirmed for a combo.

If I were you, I'd send USCIS a note online and ask that they confirm a combo. But yeah, plan for one.

DC oath schedule is determined by the federal court, and someone posted the schedule for the year a while ago. Basically, it's held on the second Tuesday of each month (although August has two days for the month, I think).

Yeah I was the one who posted that. I just don’t know when they’ll let me know or which one I am likely to be included in.

I am also getting concerned because I got a decision cannot be made during the interview. The officer said once my application is approved I will receive a letter in the mail. My status online changed to approved on 05/22 but I haven’t received an approval letter nor is there one under the document tab. So I am getting now paranoid that maybe the status change online was a mistake and I am not even approved yet.

Can anyone who got a decision cannot be made during the interview but was later approved share their experience?

Many thanks. :)

The IO couldn't approve my N400 since I had I-751 pending. He had the case in front of him, looked at it briefly, asked a couple of questions and said that it looks approvable and it will be approved that afternoon. Few hours later my status I-751 was approved and so N400 the next day. I noticed the N400 approval letter on my profile a couple of days later.

Oh man. Now I am super worried that the IO didn’t approve my application...ugh. I remember asking him if once approved my status will change online he said “well I don’t know that’s the tech people doing their thing, but I’ll be sending a letter and it’s coming from me.”

My IO did seem inexperienced however. He had another IO with him and also didn’t seem to know the answer to some questions I asked him about name change etc.

I really hope he didn’t make a mistake. I mean my status changed to approved and in line for oath in both my accounts.

My In-Laws just applied for N400 Citizenship on April 15, 2019 based on 5 years residency.

They did walk in finger prints at end of April at Fairfax Office.

It seems probably 6-7 months before they get an interview?

I am pleased to find this thread.

We applied (N400) on January, 6, 2019.  Our interview at the Prosperity Avenue office in Fairfax is on 15 June; so, a five month wait for us.  Hope you get a speedy interview!  Good Luck!

it has been about 2 months since my wife's bio appointment - projected completion time is still the same, but, going 2 months without progress is nerve-wracking lol, and i'm seeing other folks who filed at other offices in Feb 2019 already have their oath ceremony, with more interviews being scheduled every day! :( patience, i know. Curious to know if other Feb 2019 filers have had interviews scheduled from the DC office yet?

@Jamie and Amparo

I think it roughly takes 130 days for interview to get scheduled for DC. I think you should hear about it your case in late June. Please notify this forum as soon as you hear something. I have filed in May and wait is unbearable. 😣
