Thank you Bambi. Has been a very long time coming. It was by choice as I had no need for a green card or citizenship.

I feel like been in a very long relationship and now ready to tie the knot.

Emotions are not high, just steady.

I am DONE! Took the oath today. Was scheduled for 12 noon but was running behind, 1.30pm because of the crowd

85 countries were represented with over 300 new citizens.

The guest speaker was Gerry Connolly (D-fairfax)

A lot of guests even though it was said two guests only to avoid a village but I guess some didn't get the memo

Will go to DC next week to apply for my passport. No time today for post office, then again not much in a hurry.

Anyone waiting, please be patient, you will get there.

Remember, patient is a virtue.

My very best and shall be back to this forum (got addicted) to follow your journey and cheer you on.

No update on my side 😞

my bro got his status changed to we schedule your Oath. He had his interview 1 month after I did.

i don’t know why it delays in my app? Now I’m thinking I gave them my travel dates on leaving country May 2018 instead of April 2018. But aren’t dates should be estimated??

plus my online Wait time is 15 days?

I know this is not worth mentioning but please allow me to share a tiny excitement of my day. The status changed from "In line for Oath Ceremony" to "Oath will be scheduled" today. One tiny step closer, yay!!!

@Bambi_DC thanks for sharing!

Your Oath must be Feb 20. My bro got his status change and 1 day after letter was uploaded.

Fingerprinted on 06/04/2018

Interview notice on 11/02/2018

Actual interview on 12/12/2018 at Prosperity Ave office

Congratulations Moonsky!

Received an email yesterday from USCIS at 4.00 in the afternoon stating that their messaging system was not working and finally back on and to check my account.

Out of curiosity checked.

Still says completion March 2019.

Wait time: 24 days??? Their math is a bit fuzzy

already took the oath last week.

Hi Moonsky, congratulations to the good news. Did you request for a name change?

Thank you so much!

No I didn’t request to change my name and was told it may take 2-4 months for the Oath to be scheduled. I was interviewed on Dec 12 and will be taking Oath on Feb 13, so it’s exactly 2 months.

You will get there! Remember to turn off the unsubscribed button afterwards. Got a message last week saying still reviewing your case. Annoying but still in their mind.?

They need to improve their visual communication skills.

Please let us know about your experience. And will be cheering for you.
