I am sorry it's  taking that long. Still their policy is 30 to 90 days aait time as they do use a final set of eyes to cross all the ts and dot the is.

I strongly believe it may happen  soon, just dont despair.

I had to drop my ex spouse name but was still considered administrative  not judicial.

Each case is different in the eyes of uscis.

Chin up,will be allright!

No, i dont know of anyone  scheduled  this month.

Since you are in DC not virginia, the oath ceremonies are judicial and take place in court.

Given the government shutdown, all federal properties are closed.  And some courts are operational until tomorrow due to some available fundings.

Perhaps the delay is mainly due to that..

You can look up the calendar for  2019 oath ceremonies  in dc. Next, i beleive is february 12, if not mistaken.

Are you referring to DC only ceremony schedule? If not, where can I find the schedule.

Don’t you live in DC too. I thought VA office is for all VA/DC residents

If you live in Dc, yes. You can check the united states court for the district of columbia and it will give you the 2019 calendar.

However, if you live in northern  Virginia,  the fairfax office on prosperity avenue decides where and when i,e . High school, historic building etc..

If however, there is a name change, the oath is hel every third thursday of the month at the eastern division court house in alexandria.

Where you had your interview, will define your oath, DC or VA

Just quick update since everyoen has been so helpful. I did my oath ceremony in DC court this Tuesday (Jan 8). One of the main speaker was my immigration attorney's collegue (i thought it was funny). She is AILA Chair for DC chapter.

Spent a lot of time to check-in all 122 naturalized candidates and then there was a roll-call (we were each called by name and our country prior to taking the oath)

I applied for my passport yesterday and picked it up this morning. Great to be an American!
