Why so much delay? Did you ever contact USCIS after 6 wks?

DC proper residents take their Oath DC Court only. So it takes longer to get scheduled.

Did they tell you to wait 4-6 wks or longer? I’m in VA. My brother got his Oath letter 1 wk after interview. For me, it’s been 4 wks.

Yes I was told average wait is 4 months. I thought they were kidding. Apparently not.

It will be about  months since I was placed in line for Oath.

 

Virginia is quicker because they do Oath in multiple locations.

I’m in VA. They told me 4-6 wks. It’s been 5 wks.

I applied online on May 16. Had my bio on June 4. Got interview notice on November 2 and did my interview today at the Prosperity Avenue office. I passed and am now waiting for the Oath to be scheduled. I live in Nova so hopefully it won’t take as long as it will in DC.

when was your interview etc, did you have your interview at prosperity ave or DC? need to estimate my oath too...

October 10th.  We scheduled  your interview 

November 19th. Attended interview

November 19th. We approved your application

November 19th. In line for oath

December 27th. We mailed your oath letter

December 31st. Oath letter receive

Oath. January 26th  2019, fairfax high school.

I should be getting mine too. My interview was done in Fairfax. All of my dates are 1 weeks prior to you.

I believe  that  yours  Will  in February  as there a four weeks  window between  the notice and the oath.

Not a smart move to travel  now as it may be too close for comfort. But hopefully your trip will be four weeks or less.

Some of your earlier posts, mentioned being married prior  to  interview.

Did they ask for any documentation  such as marriage  certificate,  spouse info?

Not sure, all of my dates are 1.5 wks prior to yours, so I think I should be in same batch as you? If your interview was on 19th and you received yours within a month. I should get mine too. I think because of holidays it’s a delay. Plus I didn’t get any email on my interview. It just arrived in mail.

 

they did ask for my spouse name, addresss, but not certificate. I also tracked oversea after submitting N400. My application was approved next day. If there was any issue, they would ask for more evidence. My bro already took Oath. We had everything done in same  dates on the process. I thought maybe I missed the batch. 

 

I’m only going for 4 days. That same weekend.
