Finally, my oath ceremony has been scheduled. I am still waiting for a specific date and location now.

I applied to change my legal name, thus it took a longer time than other people who do not change their name.

* Applied - Feb 7, 2018

* Finger (Bio M) - March

* Interview - Sep 19, 2018

* Oath has been scheduled - Nov 21, 2018

Congrats! you're almost there!

Congratulations @coconut0223

I am still waiting for my date. I didn't get much out of infopass this morning!

Thank you!

I am sorry to hear that you didn't get much information from the info pass. I hope you will get good news soon.

Did they tell you anything about the ceremonies in proper D.C.?

The officer who I spoke with had no clue about the process. He was implying that my oath will be scheduled soon and it can be anywhere in DC area including Virginia. I know that's not true. DC proper is usually done at DC court, It was completely waste of my time.

I might try to schedule another infopass again.

Yeah it doesn't sound right. I know that D.C. residents get judicial ceremonies at the D.C. district court. Hopefully you'll hear good news soon.. Let us know!

is there any other review process after I pass the exam and my status is oath ceremony will be scheduled?? I got married after filing n400 so at the interview I told the officer I’m not single anymore and gave him my wife details who is oversea. Are they doing any other review??

Had my interview today and total time was less than 15 minutes. In fact, I would think the total time would have been less than 10 minutes if I didn't request for a name change. Now waiting for the Oath Ceremony, the office said the wait time could be 2 months....ehhhhhhh

Just login to the USCIS website to confirm that they approved my N400 application on 11/27; however, the estimated case completion date still shows 4 months. How reliable is this estimate? Can someone share their experience please? Thank you.

Do you live in DC proper or Virginia side?
