We're both impatient, but I'm definitely the one who's more on edge because my fiance doesn't go on the forums as much as I do, he just listens to me ranting about it.

A few days ago I was saying the same thing about lawyers. A total waste of money. I was also under the impression using a lawyer would speed things up. Boy was I wrong and a very expensive lesson learned. I'm reading some horror stories about ppl being approved then they rescind the approval? I thought getting an RFE was worse case scenario now I'm petrified it can actually be a lot worse. I hope in that case it was a mistake and everything gets cleared up. End of this week I'm at 200 and I never imagined I would be in this position. Middle of June being approved and I'm shivering on the outside looking through the approval window hoping they'll let me in

I've been to America 3 times to see my fiancé and he's been here 3 times..no problems getting in for either of us. His 73 year old mum came out in June to meet my family as well .

The only thing that I can think of is if one of you has a name that's similar to someone on the no-fly list or something like that.

I have no criminal past, I got my police check done 2 months ago , my fiancé hasn't got any criminal history either .

It's  more than likely something to do with the Petitioner not the Beneficiary at this stage. He will get notice of the Issue, but this doesn't happen especially not with a K-1. Most petitions get returned at the Embassy after they have been approved by the USCIS. Ummmmmm..... I'm very sorry that happened.

@Trinab80 hey girl don't you go getting sad. We both still hanging in there and soon it will be our day. I give it one more week, otherwise we are going to have to do twice daily phone calls until we get on their nerves and they approve us. 

 

There is no rhyme or reason that they are hitting June while we are in May still with no word at all. That just isn't fair at all !!!!!! We waited in line, paid our fee, we at least deserve a response for the delay. This is not normal processing 😔

I'm trying to hold on but every day my mind begins to wonder if something's wrong our if they are trying to delay my approval because of what happened last year during my fiance's POE experience. 

 

Either way, I feel the stress and anxiety coming back. I'm trying to fight it though.

I prepared all papers myself, then I had attorney review my work and after getting his approval mailed all papers myself. I am shocked you are getting RFEs after attorney review. This is ridiculous!

I honestly think you’re victim to an innocent administrative error, as has been discussed on the other thread. I really hope you get some answers - did you submit a service request to the USCIS or get an infopass appointment? Have you got your congressman/ representative to look into this yet?

My fiancé tried calling USCIS today but they were unhelpful and said call back tomorrow at 8 and speak to an immigration person . How do you do service request and info pass appointment? Thanks so much 😀
