Some people get approved within a few days as observed from my list, others take 2 or 3 weeks and there was someone who took 2 months to get approved. It's just way too different with every case but I'd say 2 to 3 weeks after rfe response received is the most common timeline.

Thanks hopefully It will be this week, they asked for proof of meeting in person which I sent originally. Pictures, plane tickets, passport, hotel receipts and various other things. What I would love to know is what happened to the stuff I sent originally.

They asked us for this too and circumstance of meeting. Both things we had already provided in our petition originally...There are way too many people who got asked for things they already provided for this to be a coincidence tbh.

It took them 17 days to do my RFE. they also asked the same stuff from me that I submitted. I feel like it was a delay tactic

Thanks I am on day 18 but I know the thanksgiving Holiday and weekends are in there so it is actually only like 12 working days

It is really pathetic, they should go right back to our cases once they receive our reply, this whole ordeal is almost 7 months already my first Noa was May 15, by the time we are done with NVC, Medical and interview we're talking like 9 months from start to finish, unacceptable really!

That would be truly great but sadly in USCIS nothing makes sense anymore. I'm just extremely disappointed in this process. When our lawyer told us 5 to 8 months I really didn't expect it to be the 8 months...I don't want to be overly pessimistic but at this point I'm certain there won't be an approval for my case this week. Hopefully yours is different though!

My attorney told me 4-6 months, what a joke. If I would of known this I would of did it myself, I thought using an attorney would speed it up, that was a $2000.00 lesson learned

Pretty much lol. Sometimes I even wonder if the attorney was what got us an RFE

If I'd known it'd be taking this long I would have opted for spousal visa..At least you know the wait will be worth your money...

Very true, I am wondering the same thing, I asked the attorney and He said He sent everything , but I doubt if He would tell me " Oh yea, I forget to send that stuff" They are all schisters!

I know right! I thought I was being overly paranoid but I suppose not :jest: I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case though.

It is not so much me that is impatient, but my pretty Filipino Princess is getting antsy. I should of just moved over there got married and live like a King and come back to the States  every few months. Life is so cheap there
