we have our wedding booked for March 31st , 11 of my family members have already paid to come over for this.. 

I know it can take months now to hear anything back !

They did a lot of June cases this morning. I wish I understood their process. Seems like they would want to clear out the may cases first. Makes no sense.

I didn't have time to call the NVC this morning, so I called them after work today. I waited about 10 minutes to talk to someone, and once I got a hold of a rep, he actually looked up my case to confirm it was really approved by USCIS, but then said to "call back in several weeks" because "it takes several weeks for cases to be entered into the system after NVC receives them"... idk if it's just this specific rep, or if they changed their mantra... previously the reps all predictably said "it can take up to 6 weeks for NVC to receive petitions after USCIS approves them". Did anyone else hear something similar from NVC today? I'm wondering if they're all saying it will take longer now... 

 

Did anyone else get a case number today? I only saw one person get one with a NOA2 date of 10.24...

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Awww...many thanks and appreciation for your kind words. I'm hoping this is my week too. I get so close each week but no approval.  Maybe I will get lucky and get it before I hit 200 days which will be Friday for me.

No , first time for both of us 

I've been to America 3 times to see my fiancé and he's been here 3 times..no problems getting in for either of us. His 73 year old mum came out in June to meet my family as well .

Wow, that is total bull. I'm really pissed off for you. They can't even be considerate enough to let you know ####### is going on. They really are awful.

Well it can really be anything that they deem is lacking. As for us, they asked us for things we'd already provided. Evidence of meeting in person and cicumstance of meeting. I have no idea how they found those lacking when we sent over 30 pictures of us with my family, boarding passes, passport stamps and everything else. As for the circumstances of meeting we wrote a statement about that too...I just don't understand how this is not enough when I've heard people get approved with less!
