Finally received my case #

What can I do right now besides just waiting?

How long does it usually take to get to the consulate? Will they contact me once they have it?

Hi, May filers!!! Let Monday bring good news to all of us striving for survival, NOA2 and NVC case number. ✌️✌️✌️

I wanted to ask if any of you applied for a B1-B2 (tourist/business) visa after you'd filed for the K1.

My tourist visa expired this October and now I do want to have a new one to spend NY holidays with my fiancé cause I have 12 days, and it feels like there will be no chance for us to be together till March.

please share your experience if you managed to get a tourist visa or not. Thank you 😘😘😘

and may the Universe and all saints have mercy and send us the NOA2 online notification and hard copy same day! 🙏 TODAY 🙏🙏🙏

Yes.  Once you receive the number from NVC, you can schedule and pay for medical and schedule the interview.  The NVC number is different than the WAC number that USCIS uses.  The NVC number should start with a code for your Embassy.  In Manila it is MNL#.

That's really cool! So... this saves about a week + that should take NVC to get all paperwork to the embassy!

Almost everyone with an NOA2 date on or after Oct 25... there's a lot of posts from earlier today about it.

So i tried calling the NVC this morning as it has become my routine and for the first time they ever I got a recording that they cannot take my call due to high volume. I am guessing that there are hundreds of people like us that have been stuck for some some reason...

My NOA2 approval date is October 26th.

Oh 😦

Do you think there is still little to no chance to get it even if my kids stay home and I have a guarantee letter from the company I am a subcontractor to?

i traveled this summer after we filed and mentioned the K1 process to the passport control officer and he let me in with no evident hesitation.
