I'm at 190 and realized that my lawyer is useless. If it wasn't for this group I would be lost. He doesn't tell me anything except wait 2 more weeks. I would never recommend him to anyone! The money I wasted with him I could of brought a few plane tickets to see my fiancée. I completed all the paperwork myself and ran around to get the necessary documents. All he did was mail it to USCIS and collect my money. I've never spoken to him 1 time as he only communicates through email. Now he's taking 1-2 weeks to even answer my emails and all he writes back is "wait 2 more weeks". Same. My lawyer is so relaxed all the time its not even funny. We also got an RFE and he didn't even know what to send back. I found the answer on VJ and gave him what was needed to mail it out. I then found out then he sent it to CSC regular mail with no tracker on it. Oh my good lord...the whole things makes me so mad when I think about it.... #unproductivelawyers

lmao I see quite a few of us were bamboozled. At least we know better now and thank GOD for vj members especially in this group for their wealth of knowledge & positivity

Disappointed until I saw ALL the May23rds got RFE smh kinda glad my case wasn't up there today. Congrats on the May 30th Jamaica approval whoever that is. Since I've been monitoring approvals on the app I've never ever seen an approval from Jamaica so hopefully that's a good sign for us with our SO in Ja

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Hello everybody,

 

Looking for some advice regarding the I-134 that needs to be sent in to the embassy for the K-1 visa application.

My Fiance has a minor son and we want to get the visa for him as well. We included him on the I-129F application already, but now I am not sure abut the I-134 form.

I believe that I read somewhere that children need a separate form, although I just called USCIS (Tier1) and was told that I should fill out only 1 form (but want to double check).

Does anybody have any experience with it?
