Maybe those cases sent accidentally to NRC? I'm hearing a lot about these, theres a topic actually.

However, I just want to get the numbers out to see what's going on

Oh i see. I heard that also someone is waiting case number from nvc for so long until they found out their case was mistakenly sent to nrc.

My fiance was supposed to have a call with tier 2 yesterday to try to inquire about our case, but they didn't even call him back after making him wait...

Ah, see it now.  Sorry.  I just always look to day and not month.  Just growing more impatient. 😁

I totally understand your frustration, I really really do. It's okay to take a hiatus from things, that's why I was quiet last month. I was lurking, but just quiet. So, if you need a moment away, I support that decision (and if you need me to vent, just PM me and I'm hear to listen/cry with you....for real). Just know that I'm praying as hard for you as I am for myself.

But to try and answer your question about why they're tormenting us???? Other than both of our fiancé's being from high-risk fraud countries (your fiancé's risk level is considered "very high-risk" as any country from Africa usually is), I really don't know what else could be the hold up.

My situation is a little different than yours based on my fiancé being denied entry at POE this time last year and having his tourist visa cancelled. So for me, they might be re-confirming that there was nothing criminal behind the situation (although I was told our background checks had already cleared). So again, I really don't know.
