Sorry to hear about this sis, I really am. But maybe this might put your case in front of the adjudicator and you get your approval next week.

Our NOA2 was dated 9th November. Do we need to start calling NVC yet? If you don't call NVC do they send the case number in the mail?

IDK if I woyld mind calling the nvc yet because they seem to have a backlog. Im NOA2 10/27 and any luck so far. Almost a month, I'm starting to be desperate! I hope to have the number next week!!

It’s been 2 weeks. Assuming they’ve closed now, I would try calling on Friday, if I was in your shoes. Historically it’s taken the U.K. filers 21 days from NOA2 to Embassy received - but we’ve seen here that a number of people (not UK filers) have reported delays recently.

Thanks for this. Yeah what with thanksgiving I'm going to leave it until Friday. I knowww I've seen the delays also, kind of worrying. Hopefully it won't be longer than a month - that I can cope with.

 

Ive handed in my notice at my workplace for my last day to be 5th January. I'm hoping this will be all sorted before then.. planning to enter US at the start of February 🙂
