Called the immigration office today. Was speaking to a guy that was very rude. Wouldn’t transfer me to a tier 2. I asked them if I could be transferred to a supervisor. He transferred me to what seemed to be a dead line cause it rang and rang for a good 5 mins.

I hung up and called again. Got a very nice lady. I told them I was being transferred to an immigration officer and got discounted. She transferred me to the line. Entered in my information the wait was only going to be 23 mins.

23 mins go by... I get a call back. He says that he can’t tell me any information and not past normal processing time they are only processing case from may 1st  I was like well that’s funny cause I know people getting approvals that filed in June. He hung up or the phone call got disconnected on me mid sentence.

I called back again. Get transferred again. Wait again. And different immigration office is connected this time. Told them out of normal processing time blah blah. Tells me he can’t tell me anything at all. I have to wait. All he can tell me is that my application has not been approved.

I don’t know how you all do it but I couldn’t get anyone to tell me anything. I was nice on the phone was rude or loud or anything. 😭😭 I just want to know some something. What a frustrating process

Same thing happened when I got my call back yesterday. The female officer "Jones" was incredibly rude and I'm pretty sure she hung up the phone on me, even though I was being polite. When I called back they were not able to transfer me to a supervisor due to the time being "too late in the day" and suggested I call again the next day. I've officially given up on calling the supervisors for anything. My few experiences with them have all been nauseating and I usually end up feeling more frustrated after the phone calls are finished. My fiance and I are just going to continue waiting patiently and will not 'pester' the USCIS representatives anymore.

Just curious and throwing this out there...

Has anyone ever complained to the Better Business Bureau about this?  Do they even have jurisdiction?  Is there a way for complaints about such completely unacceptable "service" to be escalated?  I'm having a hard time believing there is absolutely no way to enforce accountability or basic servicing standards here, but if there is a way, I can't think of what it might be.

I looked at BBB the other day and they do not allow against government agencies.  Sadly even complaining to my congressman I get same runaround, it's like they're all in it together.

I feel your pain. But looking at these cases I didn't expect it to be that many cases being reviewed today.

Me neither giving it it’s thanksgiving tomorrow and I just figured they wouldn’t do anything today because they’d be working at half a pace being pissed off trying to go home for the holiday. I certainly wasn’t expecting to hear our approval before 10xgiving at all.

How about we all just do not call or have anyone call at all so they all lose their jobs and can hire more to work on the petitions instead. 😂😂😂

I was just about to say the only place you can complain about it is to your congressman but I guess not even that. I heard of people calling their congressmen and getting somewhere.

Mine told me to wait till they changed to May and was a month past.  Did that and her immediate response was "I'll write them again but expect the same results, they're not working on late May yet".  I wrote back with a screenshot from my app showing a May 29th approval and told her they are approving beyond and there's the proof of it.

Yeah that’s not an excuse because I even saw June ones being approved already.

I just called USCIS. I had some guy that literally kept asking what was my last notice. I demanded to be transferred. He said they were done transferring calls for the day. He kept asking what was my last notice. I played stupid and said I’ve been out of the country. He said check your mail and clicked. Called back right after and a tier 1 told me I was still pending, mind you I have been approved since 10-24. I respectfully demanded a transfer. Now I’m waiting 22 min for a tier 2 call back. Worst customer service EVER!!

Question: why do you still have to call uscis if you're approved?
