Guys, had my interview this morning in rio de janeiro, it was quick, easy and painless lol visa approved!!!!!

estimated POE December 8th

That's wonderful! My fiance is from São Paulo. He really wants me to be there for the interview. How soon were you able to schedule your interview after submitting your ds160? I'm just hoping there will be enough time to request days off from work to go.

Our K1 Journey
I-129f Received: July 17, 2017

Well, I think it helps, but there was like 6 applicants in the waiting room and just one couple, the CO didnt let the girl goes to the interview with his fiance (beneficiary) so I dont really know how much of a help it is. Everyone in the room got approved from what I saw.

I could schedule it for the next week after I submitted my ds, but it took me 4 weeks cause the doctor from sao paulo was in a congress out of the country.

Yay! Hopefully it will be fast.

For the Canadian police check did you get the basic police check done (that's what they told me is enough for visa purposes) or the extreme one with the fingerprints?

Thanks.

Congrats! Did you upload a digital photo on your DS-160 application when you were filling it out? And if you did, did you have to bring physical passport size photos to the interview as well?

I called back this morning to try to get my nvc case number. And guess what? They apparently haven’t received my case 😡😡 I’m definitely upset that I was lied to last night that my case was received. Completely unacceptable. “Sorry you were told the wrong information” was all I was practically told multiple times. I want answers on why I was lied to not an apology.

Morning Everyone!!!!

Congratulations to all those that have gotten their approvals, and to those that have gotten their case #'s from NVC and are moving on to the final stages of their "happily ever after". Once again to the rest of us still waiting for our NOA2's, I'm sure we will be getting ours soon just can't say for sure what "soon" is looking like these days.

Day 183.....I didn't mention this yesterday only because I was sure whether to believe this or not but, I called USCIS and spoke with Tier 1 because after seeing that June is getting their approvals, I needed answers (no offense to my "Junies" I'm happy you guys are getting your NOA2's). Plus, yesterday there were no cases touched that had a received date of May 23rd (my received date) and there are quite a few cases left out there that need to be reviewed. Anywhoo, after demanding some answers, the Tier 1 rep told me that she could see that they are working on my case at that moment and based off what she could see, they shouldn't be needing to send me a RFE (no duh, our petition was really front-loaded), but that she couldn't give any details as to what is being reviewed at that moment, but that she could see the reviewer is reviewing the case. But then told me, that next month (which Dec. 1st, starts on next Thursday), if I don't get my approval, I could submit another inquiry.

So because I'm a person who believes and tries to live off of logic and realism theories (LOL), this leads me to believe a few things....1) Tier 1 can see more of our cases than they claim, they just don't want to or are not suppose to give out more information about our case probably so that they don't set up any expectations...2) the USCIS case tracker is not real time, because the cases that were in @Shoegum scan, I received notifications for them at the end of the day yesterday, which then leads me to think....3) the cases that show up in the scans could have been approvals/RFE's that were completed on Friday/Saturday, and then when the system updates, that's when we see them.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that figured this out as I'm not the "techy" experts as my other comrades in this group, and I'm not trying to read too much into what I was told yesterday. But, from this point on, I will be calling USCIS every day until I get the answer I'm suppose to get. Because after I told her that the USCIS Case Tracker app is showing June approvals so that processing chart is wrong, that's when she started to provide me more information regarding my case. As I told her yesterday, I find it extremely unacceptable that the fee was raised over $200.00 for this process to have moved slower and that I'm over 6 months of waiting just for the NOA2 when it was suppose to take 6 months just to get my fiancé here.

When you demand answers, you can get answers. Don't settle for just their script. It's okay to be pushy about what's going on because at the end of the day, the fee has been paid, the money has been collected but services have NOT been rendered after payment!!!

Good luck everyone!!!!!

I hope you receive that noa2 soon!! long overdue

Well my friends, I guess getting out of the country was what it took. We got approved November 10th. Not on any of the scans, the app still says case received, but when I got back from the Philippines and checked my mail, our hard copy of the NOA2 was there. So please keep the faith if you do not come up on one of Shoegum's scans (thanks sir), the Spinach app is quite useless in my opinion. Spent everyday in the Philippines checking our status and being disappointed when we were approved the whole time.

I temper my excitement as I know what it is like to see so many approvals around me and I was getting quite anxious and disappointed. Thank you all for your support and I hope my post gives some of you hope that you may be approved and not know it yet. This May 15th filer was well into the 180's (days) before approval. I also temper my excitement as this process is still obviously broken and I don't think I can feel comfortable until my dear gets her green card in two years. Anyway, we are approved and feeling blessed for that :)

Way late on this, but CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!!!!!

Right now in the holding pattern waiting for the petition to get to NVC (it's been about 3 weeks). Last night I got the original copy beneficiary affidavit in my mailbox from USCIS with no notice or explanation, just the doc in the envelope (it was part of our packet). It seems so random that they would pull it out and send it to me. Lawyer is looking into it right now, but has anyone else experienced something like this after approval while waiting for NVC???
