say whaaaat? :S that wouldn't even make anyyy sense???

unless they literally have someone to catch up all the ones that only received hardcopy NOA2, and now suddenly update the system? obviously with the date of the actual hardcopy?

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

I found more... There were a bunch of 9/25 RFE cases and there were 4 RFE received on 10/23 cases....which turned approved...on 9/25....

Do these people know how a calendar works??

ok now I have no hope anymore that there will be a proper process eventually....

while we all wait for our work permits, we should offer them to help out setting processes and teach them how to work accurate :S

I - just - can't - watch - this - mess! ughhhhhhhh as an OCD-super-organized-perfectionist this is super hard to understand how messy they work

perks of being Swiss I guess lol we got this in our blood!

but seriously... I think what WE all learned in the past few weeks/months, and caught all these things, we'd clean up that mess and show them how it's supposed to go down. that's terrible. nightmare!

let's see if @Naes catches some more, if we're talking about 5-10 ok, but if we are talking about 100 or more?! then... :S

I have no insight into the workings of USCIS at all, but it couldn't be that if they open a case on 9/25 but have to send an RFE, they simply go back later on (say on 10/23 when they receive the evidence) and close it on the date it was opened? Maybe it's how offline cases/NoA2 hardcopy cases work in their case management system. Just speculating

nope, actually it doesn't work that way. This happened once before in may (I cannot find his nicknameee) he got his hardcopy without update and a few dates later the hard copy it changes into rfe, he went to the local office and it was a noa2 in the end. I hope he comes by and sees this, I really want to check his status.  Guyss if you remember the nickname pleasee tag him for me...I have 4 more months to go this will make me go mad..

Edit; found him :D @bcoakley06

This happened to you right? is it okay if I follow your wac number to see how the changes will continue?

Okay gotcha. So basically the hardcopy and the online updates do not match? That's a bit confusing. Well thankfully at least it doesn't seem very common.

I think we are realizing these absurdness because we are checking cases otherwise it would just be a rarity.

I can't wait for the evening scan from yesterday for both months...

I started April and it said approved on 9/13 (this was the first weird one).. and I don't put already approved cases to the scan...

Then I redid it, checked the number twice, thought I made a mistake when I was cleaning up this weekend, checked old files... And when it finished I compared everything EVERYTHING...when I was sure I wasn't going crazy I came here...now I am not sure about being crazy :D:D

actual job? what actual job?? It's there don't worry...
