True. When you get your case number, and you've completed the DS-160, for the next step, where do we go to pay for a certain fee they require?

Thanks!

Hi guys...

I just wanna ask how many working days do i have to wait before I follow up for my case number at NVC? NOA2 was November 8.

According to VJ statistics it should take on average 18 days from NOA2 until NVC receives the case. I suppose you can call  NVC anytime too. Doesn't seem to hurt

NOA1 - May 22

NOA2 - Dec 1

NOA2 Hard copy received - Dec 6

NVC received - Jan 18

NVC Case # assigned - Jan 29

Embassy receives documents (NVC status is READY) - Jan 31

Medical Exam - Feb 21

Interview - Feb 27

long wait due to government incompetence realized in 2 month testing for TB

POE - May 22

question is - is the call center the same team as the people processing the data?

if so - all these calls would take up more time for the talking and less time for processing.... does anyone know?

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

Interview scheduled for: 05/09/2024

From what I know about call centers in general those should be separate teams. When you call in, they don't have your actual papers in front of them. They are just  punching in the information you give them and respond back with what they see on the screen. I am sure they also able generate and route inquires but that's about it

Tomorrow puts me at 4 weeks. I don’t know why VJ says 18 days when only one person has update their nvc since the 14th of November. That’s a week without movement or updates.

@Shoegum....when you have the time, can you do a scan just so we can see if they are working or just lounging today?

The holidays always seem to make people lazier than normal (I know it does for me).

Thanks! :)
