We may have found a way out too!

Proving that we met it hasn't been a problem.

His divorce decree did. Because the court house said a Summary of divorce it's all he can get, and it was signed. And they said they wouldn't even write a statement to say that's all he can get from his file because there is nothing else!

The funny thing is that's his first divorce, the second one was accepted.

So how can he have a second divorce if he didn't have the right to remarry the first time?

So we finally made it to talk to a tier2 (which ironically was a foreign!!!!!!!!!)

She told us to document all the communications we have had with the court house, print out emails, write a statement explaining all the effort we took to give them what they asked for and even include the tier2 name to show that even USCIS told us it was okay and there is nothing else we can do.

So we are shipping it today and we are hoping that it will be okay, that it's not going to be one of those occasion where you have to hope to get the right person that understands, but that anybody would accept it.

And hope for an approval very very soon!

Did you send it yet @alexmc030?

What to lawyer told you to do?

HI - Yeah we shipped it on Wednesday last week - the lawyer told us to write a similar statement to you. Fingers crossed we both get approved soon :)  They haven't changed our status yet to say they've received it though

Looks like the NOA2s are hiding until they hit the mailbox for many. My app still shows "case received." We were around 180 days when it was approved on 11/10/17 and did not receive hard copy until 11/15/17 base upon date stamp on the envelope...I was with her in the Philippines when it came. So chin up, you may or may not be approved in the scan, app, etc.....but always in the mailbox sooner or later...for us...it was later :) I pray for you all. And thank you Shoegum for the scans, even though we did not find out via the scans, we were at the computer everyday waiting for the results. It kinda kept us sane in a way. So keep up the good work.

Question for you....if you were to call the USCIS tel# and type in your case # during the prompting, does the automated system still say "case was received" at this point since you have received your hardcopy?

Just curious

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I honestly have never called the USCIS, but the app says it takes its information about a case from the USCIS. On the USCIS website, it still says received last time I looked. I refrained from calling the USCIS as I was worried about getting upset and screwing something up...so we just waited...but the system is broke. If they used online entry of the 129 and attachments for pics, etc., I bet the process would take weeks instead of months...if that.

The server system to allow us to do everything online for this process would be the size of NYC alone for millions to be hooked up and updating all the time

Well it would take up less space than 100,000,000 paper files in boxes. Too many people reporting lost information too. I just think automation of this system would be more efficient and accurate. But the probably keep the Post Office in business. :)

Actually (let me be the saleswoman here) it would not. It would be expansive but it wouldn't need that big of a space.. big data changed the world already we are playing with even bigger data everyday. They even could have put size restrictions amount restrictions on evidences to solve lots of issues... oh thag would be soooo nice... sooooo expansive but sooooo nice... but for a while next a few generations would have to pay thousands each. Because boy that requires some busget... and nobody cares about If prospective immigrants who are not in the country gets it fast or not... they're not paying taxes or making contribution till as they are approved... (when I say they, I am also in it)
