Like many others, we're still waiting. May 25th. Numbers just infront of us and behind us approved daily, still left in the dark.

We contacted USCIS a few days ago, was able to get a call back from a tier 2 officer who essentially gave us the same information a tier one officer would, 'currently still in processing call back in 15 days'

To all you lovely people on here who are still waiting for the magic "golden ticket": I was really desperate. Losing hope and faith and feeling like this would never end. Like my whole life would be just a very long break. But today my fiancé called uscis and just got called back. I was worried about our case being one to be forgotten or worried about getting an rfe. But we were approved!! Noa1 date may 26th. Approved on nov 14th :) case tracker still shows "received"

so don't give up. Your day might already have come and you just don't know it yet. Love is stronger than this long process...

sending you good vibes

Congratulations!!

:dance:Received my approval letter today. I can't wait to show my Beneficiary when she wakes up. Over 6 months with RFE. Hallelujah!

One big obstacle hurdled, now preparation for the ONE that trumps 'em all, the INTERVIEW. And we already have two strikes against us...

One, it's a southeast asian country (Cambodia) with high visa fraud. Two, Cambodia outlawed foreigners over 50 marrying Khmer women which is the reason I chose the I-129F. They created that law for purely "aesthetic" reasons because and old looking man don't look good with a young girl. Fortunately, my Beneficiary is not 18yo, or even 28yo but in her 30's. And I sure as hell don't look old despite my age. I pray God's continuing intervention on our behalf.

As this day comes to end I can see that I probably won't get my approval today. Tomorrow makes 180 days for me and with next week being a short work week, I probably won't get my approval until after Thanksgiving.

I'm sitting here talking to my fiance now and as he keeps asking why is it taking so long, I can't find a different answer to give him other than we just have to wait.

Starting to think that the last tier 2 rep might have lied about our background checks being cleared and maybe what happened this time last year with him being denied entry and having his tourist visa cancelled is holding up our approval. I don't know, I could be over thinking things like I always do but I just don't know what to think anymore.

I'm just tired of waiting and tired of crying.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I'm so sorry to hear that, I know the feeling. Everything that could have a delay in our process, had a delay. My fiance and I have been thru a few arguments that the stress of this process caused. It is definitely hard to handle.

I know this is what you hear everyday but you are almost there! You and your loved one will be together soon and all of this will show you how much you love each other and can go thru everything.

in the meantime, are you able to visit him? We were not, but I know it would help a lot.

stay strong and awesome, you will get it soon. If you need anyone to talk to, you can message me.

Sis don’t cry.

Mine may also take longer, but everything happens at a specific time for a reason.

It’s  hard for me too, but you’re strong enough to get through this or the universe wouldn’t of put you into this situation. Just learn from whatever the universe is handing us tight now.

Thanks for your kind words.

Yes, I'm gonna go visit next month. The thing is I'm holding a week's worth of vacation time that I have left for this year thinking that he would have his interview before the year is over, that since I'm gonna attend his interview with him, I would wait until then to see him. But from the looks of things, it'll probably be January which if it's the first week of January I would be okay with because I would take the last week of December and first week of January off with the hopes that he'll get his visa and we could fly back together but at this point that doesn't look feasible.

So I will go spend the week with him next month regardless and we'll see what 2018 brings since my vacation time starts over for the year. But I promised him that I will attend his interview with him because I don't want any further delays should the Embassy feel they need me, the USC, there to answer whatever they want to know.

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. And yes I will try to be strong.

I thought bringing a child into this world would be hard but at least I had a due date and even then my son came early.

But this process.....if I had known it would take over 6 months just to receive the NOA2 from the beginning, I would have mentally prepared myself better for this or to the very least just went with the spousal visa.
