I wasn't sure to laugh or to upvote 😂

But I love this system

Was kind of meant for both.  We all need to laugh some....but has some seriousness behind it too.

@Shoegum sorry, my computer is acting weird and I think I messed up something in the title above "RFE sent back date"

@K+D did they reply to your RFE the same day they received it? How did they reply? Just saying on their site that it was received?

Please remember, I'm seeing a lot of cases going to directly approval without them changing the status to received. So don't get worried too early if this status doesn't change.

And their system sucks, blah blah you know the rest 😊

Hahaha, if you're living in the future hopefully you can get your visa faster :D

And yes, Decision Notice sounds rather...grim lol.

I'm aiming for April 23 not for my noa... I'm going to quit my job that day... like visa on hand or not...

I'll be like "boss...I'm on my phone for the past 10 months on visa journey and I don't know why you stil didn't fire me... sooo I quit!"

this is my dream... that's why it's easy for me to wait 😊

Morning May Filers (and June, July, September and October Filers :))

Congrats to all those that been approved. Please don't forget to update your timelines!!!

Day 178....informed delivery just showed me my daily junk mail for the day. :(

Was hoping that at most my fiancé and I would fly back together by January 7th (January 6th is my birthday and planned on breaking in our 2nd New Years together and staying all the way through my Birthday like last year). But now with today being Thursday, just a week away from Thanksgiving (which makes next week a short work week for USCIS) - things are looking like maybe MLK weekend he will be here. For every week with no approval is a week taken away. Sad part of this whole ordeal is that the 2nd part of this process moves SUPER FAST, as JA Embassy as interview appointments available every day all day and he could schedule his medical exam QUICK! Literally, 30-40 days left after the NOA2....just one problem.....I NEED OUR NOA2!!!!!!!

I've kicked myself in my behind every day for not just doing the spousal visa. Yes, I would still be waiting, but that wait would be easier because I would have been prepared for that long wait. But as @Maria1989 said earlier in her post, to pay the extra $200 in the fee amount, it's like the more the expensive this process has gotten, the more slower USCIS got. December will make 7 months and IF he gets here in January that would be 8 months. For all of that, I could have done another 5-6 months paying the cheaper way and having all his documents upfront than go through this. At least, I would have had my beautiful destination wedding that we were initially planning to do. But now, we will be spending another Thanksgiving apart.

Either way, I will be using my last week of vacation to spend the last week of this year in Jamaica and then the first week of January with him. I'm gonna need to those 2 weeks away from our US government and country. But still praying that somewhere in all of this when I return home, he will be sitting next to me!!!

Sorry...needed to vent real quick. This time last year was hard for us so this waiting just brings up sad, depressing feelings of anxiety for me! Okay, I'm getting off my soapbox now!!!!

Good luck to the rest of us that are waiting for this torture to end!

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

First of all: sooo you don't like august filers eh?

secondly: I hope things will pick up and all the luck will be there to hit that interview date someone decided to cancel and without you knowing January becomes a happy month again ❤️

Don't make me start on that... I stupidly counted yesterday.... but nope that won't happen. They had problemous times like this before and they usually solve it in 2 quarters the most.( yep I calculated that one 😂😂😂😂)

Wow, you are an October filer...hope it will be way shorter for you, in any case ifI were you I'll try to keep my mind busy with anything else...the months waiting can be horrible!

If you look on immigration timelines for UK it can be done in 35/37 days but as there are reports on delays at NVC right now, I’m sure it’ll have a knock on effect

How can you see the timeline based on country?
