Yes, just so everyone could see.

Look now. I hope @Shoegum don't hate me for changing this.

So I got to speak to a tier 2 just now and this is how the conversation went:

Me: I'm at day 188 and we still haven't heard anything, so I'm just trying to find out what going on.

Her: it looks like you put an in an inquiry on the 9th, and it takes up to two weeks. An officer has been assigned to your case and you should hear something by the 24th.

Me: well could you at least give me any insight as to why it's taking this long? Is something wrong? We're starting to get worried.

Her: actually, it looks like your notice of approval was sent out yesterday so you should get it in a few days. Congratulations.

So first, I'm approved?! I freaked because I was so happy. But now I'm worried because why didn't she say that first, instead of waiting on the inquiry? My anxiety is just messing with me. Basically I can't believe it until I see it type of thing. I guessed it wasn't updated bcus their website was down yesterday?

And when should I update my timeline, now or when I get the hard copy?

Congratulations!!! Yes be happy and yes relax! It's real...

well it even took the person to realize its real a bit on the phone obviously... so it's ok to take time to breathe it in the reality that you got approved!!!

I know this has been answered by others but I cannot get to a tier 2 person. how did you?

The first time I told them I got a text saying my case was approved, but hadn't seen it updated online.

This last time I just asked. Said the wedding was coming up soon and if it takes any longer we'll miss it. They said : I will transfer you to tier 2 at your request

He Shoegum, it might be overkill, but I'm thinking this format will give members more insight into the timeline for this process. What say you; can the spreadsheet be done this way?

Sorry to bug you. Was there a scan from yesterday?

11/13?

Nope there was only a few rfe's unfortunately. If your case is updated it would be on your case tracker (as it is the same data) 😊 Otherwise the scans also don't have anything.

tomorrow I finally meet my VJ timeline dates.  still waiting... feel guilty for complaining cuz people are at 180+ days and im sitting here at 168 but we really had our hopes set on coming back together in February and at this rate with no NOA-2 and it taking as long as it does to get to the NVC and stuff idk how realistic that is anymore :(

You definitely got the right person because I just got off the phone and she would not transfer me. Then she read the "because of the high call volume to tier 2" straight off the script.
